Only had to assemble wheels, add oil and fuel, and it started with one press of the electric starter. I wanted dual fuel and a pull start as a backup. Propane is cheaper to run if you can buy from one of the large companies, but it also ran perfectly with gas. Excellent buy for the money

I love everything about this generator. The fact that it runs on gas or LP was the primary feature I was looking for. No more gummed up carburetor from leaving gas in the system. Runs clean on propane. Another awesome feature is that it has a 50 Amp and 30 Amp 240V receptacle along with the normal 120v outlets. Being able to remote start with a fob is convenient and the huge 6.6 gallon tank makes for extended run times without the need to refuel. I was happily surprised to find a battery charger included to maintain the onboard battery used to start the generator. For the money I don't think there is a better generator out there!

I will preface this review with the fact that it has not been through the paces of an after hurricane power outage. My 5 star review reflects the quality of materials, the initial setup and properly written instructions. If you're in a hurricane prone area, this is a necessary investment, and this model, so far has been excellent. I did plug in multiple devices, and there was no change in the generator's performance. Hopefully I will not need to write a follow up, but if I do, then I will come back and report how things went. Next step is to hire an electrician to install a transfer switch.

My generator was delivered today. The box was undamaged and the generator was in perfect condition. All required parts were included and set up took 20 minutes. Setup and operating instructions are clear, concise, and very easy to follow. Great generator.

I can’t give a full review except I put about 10 minutes of gas in it and plugged in a power tool to test it. It started right up using the electric start. The power tool didn’t show up on the volt meter. The display is a little cheesy. It also read 62 Hertz. with no load. Other than the volt/hour/hertz display being sub par, knowing some low priced generators offer an app. I’m quite happy. I wasn’t able to put it under a heavy load or run it for a long period of time. I do plan to use the 50 amp plug to supply my house during an outage. In conclusion the generator is a beauty. It was quieter than my 3500w generator and It appears to be very well built. I couldn’t find a generator to match it for this price. Please Westinghouse with all that beauty, I pray for reliability when the time comes. Don’t fail me. Reliability is key. Otherwise I just bought a beautiful piece of junk.

I bought this generator about a month ago so we will be ready for power outages. Set up was easy and I'm using propane for the fuel. It started right up! The remote start is a nice add-on. I purchased this generator partly because it was one of the quieter ones on the market, has good power output and provides option to run gas or propane.

Bought this unit refurbished. After assembling the wheels and adding oil and gas it wouldn't start with the elec start button. A couple manual pulls on the cord got it running and the elect start has worked flawlessly ever since. Hasn't got much use yet, but solid unit so far.

We have been looking for an affordable portable electric start generator large enough to power our house during outages. We currently have a different brand pull crank start one and don't have the strength to start it. We consulted with our electrician and he said this would be what we needed and was impressed with its ability. We haven't had to use it yet but it looks really good and started right up. I love the key fob making it easier for us to start due to health issues. This will be a big help as oxygen is needed in the house. Having an electric start is going to give us piece of mind. Dual Fuel is a great feature, as are the remote start and battery for no-pull start. This generator is very well-built, the tires are large and sturdy, as is the handle to move it. The handle is great because it hides away when you don't need it, but when you pull it up it is extremely sturdy. I don't want my power to go out, but I am looking forward to using it long-term :-)

I purchased this as a backup power supply for my house and well on the farm when the next ice storm takes down the power lines. I have had a transfer switch and plug installed by a certified electrician. The generator has been connected to the system and tested working as was expected. I will send a more detailed review after the first use in bad weather.
