this is a high quality unit . my generator replacement research landed on this WGen9500DF Unit came in perfect condition, and with everything needed to get started. when you set it up you'll understand the high quality. Just got the unit started today and it was a fast and easy setup. The unit is solid and fired up instantly with the first pull. Very happy with the value for the money spent and I'm looking forward using to power my barn tools and as a house back up here in Maine.

I haven't had to use the unit during a real power outage, but assembly and test was very easy. I love the remote start feature using the key fob that comes with unit. I tested this with the GenerLink gadget the utility company put on my electric meter and it worked great!...supplied 40 amps of power from the meter to my breaker box.

We purchased this generator to help with ease with starting and turning off the generator and we needed more power for our home. We absolutely love the push button start/stop feature and remote start/stop feature. Thank you for helping give us peace of mind!

Just received my generator. Seems to be well built, just what you would expect from Westinghouse. Bought for power outages we have now and again. Home backup. Haven't needed it yet but winters coming. So far I'm very happy with it. Didn't have a ton of money but wanted dependability. My electrician recommended it. He's been using his about 7 yrs with no problems. Very nice.

I bought this generator in 2021 and has been great. It is now 2026 and I just started it up for maintenance and still turns on without hesitation as if it was still new. I have powered my whole house and it handled it without any problems. Best investment for emergencies.

I brought this 2 weeks ago just set it up. We ran it for the break in cycle and it runs so easy and quiet. We have a lot of power outages going into the winter here on the east coast. I love the idea of the starting fob so I don't even have to go out in the bad weather to start my new generator. The few years ago we had a major power outage with no power for a week. The only thing that saved our food from going bad and the house from freezing was the old generator we had at that time. The trouble was it ran gasoline only and with the power out all over no gas station could pump gas. So with this generator being duel fuel I think will be fine if we ever have that type of power loss again.

I just bought this generator and couldn't be more satisfied with the ease of operation and how easy it was to put together (wheels and legs) added oil which was supplied and gas and away she went, that simple! Did I mention it was very easy to move around? Very easy to move! I feel like thus generator is 1 of my best purchases! Now we are ready for winter!

I purchased in Oct 2025 the Westinghouse WGen9500DF generator. I followed the Quick Start Guide instructions supplemented by the owners manual and had no problem completing the prep work in the beginning and started the generator with both gasoline and propane fuel. The only suggestion would be to include a video link on the instructions to supplement the written word. This would also assist in staging some of the prep work that needed to be done, i.e. are wheels already attached? Didn't know for sure until the box was open. Can this be placed on the outside of the box? Also, you would be hard pressed to complete this task without assistance.

Bought this for my rv because it is one of the only reasonable priced 50 amp generators you can find. Hooked it up to rv ran everything didn't seem to load it down at all works great. So will probably use it as emergency back up power for the house also!
