I bought this a year and a half ago and finally needed to use it. The battery was dead from storage so I had to crank start it. The propane tank worked great on it however when I switched to gas and turned fuel line in, I couldn’t get it to start….Customer support only works M-F 8-4. I read the manual and have no idea what could be wrong.

Easy to do the minor assembly steps and pre-flight the first break in test run. Ran gas system first, then LP. Be patient with the first startup procedure with gas will take a few tries to get the system properly charged with fuel. Runs like a champ and pumps out the power. Like most things you know you should have already done, getting this one checked off the list feels particularly good. You'll be glad you did!

Have been wanting to replace a generator that Ive had for years. After seeing the Westinghouse on-line, there was not much use in shopping around. This generator will take care of most of my home power whenever power is disabled. The features are awesome!! Very easy setup. The tools are also provided.

came very well cared for. easy start-up procedure, just add oil and push button. ran on propane started right-up on first shot, ran for an hour with alternating power tools and no signs of distress, even with heavy draw from compressor. Feeling very confident when power goes down as it always does up here in northern ny. I am very impressed with how solid it all seems and I would surely recommend this gen. to anyone...P.S I am 70 and could easily pull it around the house some 40'

This generator is working with propane gas and regular gazoline. I’m gonna use this propane feature cause it’s much more convenient. Not to noisy and the averall quality is better that what I was used to with other generator. The remote control is very useful.

Just bought this after my last generator (Honda Black Max 7,000 watt) died after only 70 hours use.This Westinghouse 9500DF has all the features Im looking for and great reviews. Haven't used yet but the peace of mind knowing we're gonna be protected is invaluable.

Just bought and haven’t yet had a power outage, but have tested and everything works great! Easy to move with the wheels, despite the generator’s weight. Love that we can keep a few propane tanks handy and be ready to quickly get the generator running.

I bought this last month, just in time for the hurricane season in FL. It took a couple weeks to arrive. The unit looks nice, is sturdy built and I love that I can use either gas or propane. I’m not as worried now about losing power as this unit gives me peace of mind.

We went through hurricane Ian last year in SW Florida and was without power for a week. We had my folks and my sister and nephews staying at our place and we were all stuck due to the flooding. No power means no water (we’re on a well). 9 people stranded in one home in the heat with no water equals a pretty rough week. Learned my lesson. Got a transfer switch installed in the home and bought this generator for home back up so that situation never happens again. The minor assembly was a breeze and I was very grateful it included the oil. No scratches or dings at all. Now…I wait for the next storm.

Purchased for home backup power and needed something big enough for using most circuits simultaneously. No damage to unit during shipping. Looks great, no damage on the body or painted surfaces. Seems well built. Put it together (easy), filled with oil and hooked up an LP tank. Started within 2 seconds. Nice! Haven’t put it to the test yet, but my confidence so far is high.
