I bought this a few months ago for our 1000sqft home. After the freeze in Texas, we wanted to be prepared. Our electrician hooked us up with an interlock plate and plug. We tested it and it is amazing. I didn't try it, but I can probably run my AC unit if I wanted to with the other items! The dual fuel option is great as well! 50A output is just what I need for whole house backup power. Being able to run off either propane or gasoline is a huge plus. I have it stored in my shed and will hook up a solar float charger for the battery. It’s quieter than I thought it would be.

Fit and finish is really nice. Really good looking generator. This unit is quite a bit more quiet than my Champion generator with a similar sized engine. Westinghouse really did a nice job of not only muffling the exhaust but also somehow making the motor and alternator quieter. I dont have any decibel readings but it is noticeably quieter. I just received the generator a few days ago so I dont have much time on it but it fires right up and does what it is supposed too. Remote start is a nice treat. I would definitely recommend this generator.

Used my 9500DF twice. The last successful test was a month ago. We are expecting a hard freeze tonight. It won't start this morning. On the phone Customer service is impossible just recording. takes a very long time. I am still going through the motion to get help.

I decided to purchase this during the wrath of Hurricane Sally. I had been wanting a generator and being without power for 4 days helped me to decide that I needed a generator which can handle freezers, refrigerator and most importantly the beer fridge. The electric start feature is fabulous and a must for me.

purchased this item after hurricane ian, once arrived, assembly required minimal, and once filled with oil, fuel and battery connection made starting was a breeze. just make sure choke is in the cold start position. tried all methods of starting, worked as expected. was especially surprised at the ease of pull start. very happy with purchase to date.

I brought this generator just in time for the deadly ice/snow storm in Virginia on 2/2021, my very first use was during a 4-5 day power outrage. Great satisfaction, easy starting (remote control), great on gas. This was not my first power generator, so far this is" the top of the line." Thank you

Im very pleased with this purchase, thus far. Assembled it, poured oil, hooked up LPG & started it remotely (via remote control included). Started up on first crank. Plugged in some electronic devices, etc to test its electrical output & all went well. I look forward in using this when our main electricity goes out.

I ordered this unit 9-4-23 and received it 9-8-23. I unboxed and installed the wheels and mounting feet, filled with oil and gasoline and it started and ran on the first attempt. Won’t be able to check it on propane until next week when I receive my 30 lb propane tank. It did have a boo boo from shipping and the fuel gauge don’t seem to be working but have a call in on that and a case number. They said a representative would give me a call after the weekend. I’m well pleased with the unit overall so far.

Haven’t tried the generator yet because I just unboxed it. Searched a number of generators but came back to this one every time. I hope it works as good as the reviews say. Great looking whole home generator in a convenient small package. Far cry cheaper than a expensive larger unit that has to take up space in the yard full time.
