This generator replaced a Westinghouse 7000. The 7000 could handle everything except the blowers on my very old propane furnace. This one handles it all. I like the dual fuel option, and the bigger wheels make it easier to move. My neighbor and I easily wheeled it to the shed and generator area I set up out back when I got the old one. It's easier to start, though they're both electric start. It came with a battery maintainer that's easier to use than my old one. I'm keeping the old generator as a backup because, as my daughter said "You have more power outages than anyone I know". I have a well, so when the power goes out I have no running water, no AC, no heat, nothing. I have a transfer switch whole house hookup and can have the power on in 10 minutes or less and all is right with my world. No worries about the next outage, and the next one, and the next one . . . Bring it!

Generator was very easy to set up and started immediately on the first attempt. I plan to have a transfer switch installed to connect to my home’s power panel. My only issue is that the manual references a eco mode switch that I have been unable to locate.

Wanted to purchase a generator for several years after power outages from floods and hurricanes in Texas gulf coast region. After the February Texas Freeze fiasco I made up my mind and settled on Westinghouse 9500DF. Dual fuel was a must have and the keyless remote sweetened the purchase even more. Shipment arrived on time and in perfect condition. It took about 30 minutes to unbox, install parts, and add oil and gas. It started on first try using the remote. I let it run for 15 minutes. A couple of days later I started it again, it started right up without hesitation. Will have to wait for another real power outage to give it the real test and see how it does under stress!

I bought this generator a month ago and I'm very happy about my purchase. This generator does a very good job because of the different possibilities of outlet. I bought it for the hurricanes season but I use it for now for my DIY tools. it's very very heavy that's why you need to put the wheels ASAP. .

Generator was delivered sooner than was anticipated. Easy to understand instructions. Hopefully we will never need it for a power outage. However, we will now be set should one occur. Look forward to using it in the spring for the power tools to build a greenhouse.

Simple set-up, high quality and strong power source make this THE generator for us. From the large gasoline tank and LP option, to the multiple outlets on the front of the unit, this Westinghouse generator has it all! I also want to note the matte black tubular frame and the gloss blue paint look excellent! I tested the generator under load with my large air compressor that utilizes a 5.5hp 20amp motor and the Westinghouse didn’t flinch when the compressor kicked on. I was expecting the generator’s RPMs to surge, but it didn’t. This is a true “whole house” generator that will easily manage multiple job site tasks or powering your home during outages. I highly recommend!

I love the electric start. Remote start is nice but I don't know if I'll ever use it. I plan to keep the generator inside and roll it out to run and connect. Sadly a decent transfer switch is nearly the cost of the generator. More if I have to pay for installation.

I purchased the Westinghouse Dual Fuel Generator and so far I'm very pleased with my purchase. It can run with Propane and Gasoline, lower than expected noise level when the motor is on and other features such as the fob to turn it on and off. Great Westinghouse product.

So far this unit has treated us very well. It's easy to set-up and operate. We are still in the break-in period so I haven't pushed it at all yet, but it seems very well made. I love the dual fuel option and the best part about that is that the unit came with all the hook-ups needed for the propane. I was expecting to have to purchase that separately. The push button start is great as well as the remote start. It comes with a maintenance schedule and a parts list as well so no digging through the internet to find what you may need. The wheel could be a bit more rugged, but I don't plan to drag it through the woods anytime soon. Overall it seems like a sturdy unit and well worth the money at this price point.

I purchased the generator on the 08/25/2021 and it arrived at my home three days later it was dollied to my garage by two moving tech with no damage i love the remote start and shut also the plug in in for the battery charger and easy assembly added oil connected battery turned on fuel and choke started right up on gas and propane very happy with my purchase.
