I bought this generator after carefully researching all my options. Based on my findings for the money and the positive reviews I purchased the Wgen9500DF. I am very pleased with my purchase. The best feature of this unit was the dual fuel and the remote start. After I removed it from the container, it was very easy to set up. I attached the wheels and the feet and added 1.2 liters of oil. I installed the propane tank and on the first try the generator started and performed remarkable! It does everything I need it to do and then some! It provides sufficient power to my house. I am very pleased with this generator and the money it saved me and have recommended to my friends!

Bought this during hurricane tax free holiday in Florida so we can keep both the necessities and the niceties on if we lose power during a storm. Hope I never need it but cost effective to have around compared to multiple thousands for a built-in. Bought the dual fuel version to use LP and keep gas out of the lines so that hopefully, maintenance will be easier.

I bought this generator at the end of August. I hooked up my propane tank and it fired up immediately without any problems. Have not tried gas yet but, hopefully I will have the same result when running on gas. I really like the option of being able to switch back and forth between gas and propane as needed. We'll see how it does when I really need it in a power failure.

My old generator had done its time. Purchased this one for more power and for all the options. It even has remote start. Also, very important, it is duel fuel. In a power outage gasoline is hard to come by. I always have plenty of propane on hand. It looks like a well built and sturdy unit. Looking forward to years of service.

Very pleased with the features and construction. While not exceptionally knowledgeable about generators, I believe I know quality when I see it. After my last (and much smaller) generator died only 1 day into a 2 week power outage due to a severe ice storm, I knew I needed to do better. With electric and even remote start, this is a much anticipated gift to myself and my family. It's also large enough that I hope (appropriately I believe) to power everything needed in my house with the possible exception of the heat pump. If I want to later, I understand I can also purchase a soft start kit for that that is supposed to limit the start up current to a level that this can handle. Once I finish wiring my breaker panel for the inlet box and installing an interlock kit, I'll look forward to the next power outage!

This generator started up easy right out of the box. Now it starts immediately each time I get it out to use it. I like the push button start so my family doesn’t have to pull the manual start if I’m gone. The options are great as I can also power my RV with the 50 amp outlet. It’s still in the break in period so I haven’t had it above 50% of its capacity but the power is all I need. Great product.

I've become disabled, and needed a more powerful generator that I didn't have to hobble outside to start on a cold snowy evening. This fits the bill without breaking the bank. I wish Westinghouse sold a whole house automatic transfer switch. But that doesn't count as a negative for the generator review. My wife is extremely pleased. Runs a mini-split along with the well pump and all the 220B circuits. I used LP to heat water, cook, and dry clothes so I don't have to worry about that load. Highly recommend Westinghouse generators. Snag one when they're available because they sell out quickly.

purchased feb 2023, all items in the box and in good shape. assembly was very easy and straight forward. oil and funnel and spark plug wrench included. the remote start is a great bonus. no chance to start it yet and break it in but sure it will be fine.

Bought this generator a few days ago. Everything in order and looks very solid. Dual fuel is great, especially that I can hook up the propane line from main tank that normally feeds the bbq. No need for smaller tanks that you keep refilling. Really like the key fob for distance start and stop. Little extras like rubber covers on plug receptacles adds a nice touch. Looking forward to using this generator!

Excellent product. Set up was easy and it started right up after adding oil and gas and connecting the battery. Had an electrician come out to install power inlet box to house circuit panel. This will make the generator work with your house circuits. The battery start system is great. I checked out the manual start and just like the Westinghouse video, it didn't take much effort and started in one pull! This generator powers the whole house. Main reason we bought this generator was that the last storm had our power out with no back up supply.
