bought this about a month ago. as soon as it was delivered i had to put in gas and start it up. set-up out of the box was a breeze. machine started instantly, and was not as loud as other generators i have used. when our power goes out this will power my entire house.

I bought this generator for the up-and-coming hurricane season in Louisiana. Love the features on it that it had to offer especially the 50 amp to be able to run the whole house with a transfer switch. The set up was easy it started on the first start with the key fob. If I had anything negative to say I wish it was a little bit quieter when it ran other than that I was very pleased with it.

Just received. Loved the easy setup. It has an impressive variety of features and should handle all my emergency needs. Looks well built and all the controls are intuitive and easy to operate. Capacitywise it has all that I need. Although I bought for emergency use, it would probably adequate for contractor use. Glad it has many safety features.

I received the generator a few days ago and finally had the chance to unbox, assemble the wheels, and add oil. I had to buy another quart of 4-stroke 10w-30 oil because the bottle that came with the generator didn't seem like quite enough to be within the safe operating range on the dip stick, which is the only reason for 4 stars. Once the oil level was topped off, I connected the generator to an LP tank (I don't intend to use gasoline in this unit unless I absolutely have to because of the odor and issues with old/bad gasoline). It came with the proper LP hose and regulator for a LP tank which was nice. The electric start was great and after the engine turned over a few times, it fired right up. I put it to the test immediately and connected a 1/2 hp jet pump that waters my garden, and ran it for a solid hour. I'm so glad I have this for backup power to keep my refrigerator and freezer running, and have power available when I'm running jobs for my audio visual business in large fields and parks. I will need to keep the unit further away and with a barrier to keep the noise down when running for sound applications but that is a simple fix with long heavy gauge wire and a portable shield in front. The main thing is that I know I have sufficient power for my lighting and sound equipment to move some serious sound waves and also a home backup for the next time we lose power. A bad storm came through two years ago and trees were down everywhere resulting in loss of power for almost 10 days... I won't be without power this time.

I have been looking for a power generator with these many feature for a while. WGen9500DF has everything I need and more. I have a Travel Trailer and I want to run the A/C, Microwave, TV, etc... This monster should be able to handle it easily. At home, I want to use it as backup power. I just got it today and I've have only used with propane, but it started without a glitch. Sounds louder than my Firman but it has twice the power!

Just took delivery of our new Wgen9500DF and I am impressed. It’s a beautiful, well designed unit that I believe will do everything we need it to. Hoping to never run it on gasoline unless I need the extra 1000 watts. Hooked up the propane tank, turned it on and hit the start button and boom, started immediately and ran perfectly. Plugged in a couple of saws just to test and it did great. Should power most of our home without a problem. Glad we made this choice.

I recently purchased this generator to serve as a backup power for my home in Florida. As we all know hurricanes can interrupt the electric service for days and even weeks, Delivery was carried out by a competent freight company, this is crucial since the item weighs over 200 pounds - they deliver such heavy equipment on a regular basis. The generator is dual fuel, gasoline and propane, which is important as having options becomes important after a hurricane. It is a heavy duty and well-built unit. Not as noisy as I had expected given its power output. I am presently in the process of breaking it in. After installing the wheels and front supports, I charged the battery with the included charger. The charger has a red light that indicates charging is taking place, this light turns green when the battery is fully charged. A charged battery is crucial for the operation of this generator, so don't wait for a power failure to realize this. The 50 Amp outlet is a great advantage when connecting to the house to avoid the use of regular extension cords. Overall, I am very satisfied with the unit and the freight delivery service, I noticed that people purchasing from retailers other than Sams Club frequently complain about receiving units that have been damaged during delivery, kudos for Sams Club for including freight company delivery service.

This generator has a good power rating for a portable generator. The dual fuel option gives us flexibility if one type of fuel is hard to get or store. The multiple outlet types allow us to hook into a transfer switch, high wattage cable, or standard outlets.

Overall nice product that I've been quite happy with. Did have some trouble getting the generator to start the first time. I found that the amount of oil included in the bottle that came with the generator was not enough. Had to put and buy some more to top off the oil before the generator would run. Unit definitely requires some upkeep, and if you're from a younger generation like me that may be a bit daunting if unfamiliar with combustion engine mechanics.

Arrived in excellent condition. A breeze to assemble and prep for use even for a 70++ year old to do alone. Have not used for an extended period but initial checkout went smoothly. Dual fuel feature is great since you don't have to worry about degradation of gasoline between uses/periodic checks.
