This generator provides a lot of great features including dual fuel capability (gasoline & propane), remote start with FOB, battery charger, push button start, steel gas tank, 20/30/50 amp outlets with breaker, smart switch ready, solid wheels , flip up handle and has the Westinghouse brand name attached to it! The Westinghouse name has been around for a long time so it provides some peace of mind knowing they can build a great generator. The 9500 watt capacity can power a lot of tools, household items or act as a home backup power supply. I've already recommended this unit to others based on its quality. It comes with everything you need to get started including oil and a funnel to fill the crankcase...just add gas or propane and your ready to make power.

I decided to crank up my newly unpackaged generator today. The setup was easy and well documented. Once I had everything ready to go, and using the remote key fob to activate it, it cranked up readily. It was really neat. This generator has a bold and solid appearance, much like I would expect a generator to have. I started/stopped it several times, and it performed flawlessly. It has some weight on it as one might expect a generator of this size to have, but with the large wheels and retractable handle it was easy to maneuver. It purrs smoothly when idling. I am looking forward to hooking it up to my house electrical input to see how it performs carrying a load. But so far, I am impressed and pleased.

I bought this a couple months ago, and I have been impressed so far with how well it seems to be made. Once I finally figured out all the switches to turn on and to connect the battery, it cranked up with a charm. I was also able to convert it over to natural gas by buying another regulator. Happy so far with the purchase.

Just received. Was so happy how easy set up was and it came with oil,propane hose a tool kit and a hand book that was so easy to follow start up was so easy being its push button. The key fob also works great. So much power this generation easly runs my whole house with power to spare only used for a few hours but so far so good very happy with my purchase.

I purchased my WGEN9500df after not having power for a week after hurricane Helene. After much research I finally decided that this generator would suit mine and my families needs in the future. It is a well built and rugged piece of equipment that should last me a long time if called upon

Bought this right after a power outage to my home so I needed it up and running quickly. The instruction manual is very thorough making setup a breeze. It has more than enough power for my needs, and was able to power our entire house during the outage caused by a storm.

Came by special freight delivery due to the weight. The box was tore up due to handling, but everything was in good order. Super easy to attach the front legs before you add any oil or gas. You just set it on the end up and bolt them on. The wheels are a breeze as well with just axle and a safety pin. I’m not going to use gas just propane so I don’t have to worry about the gas going bad or gumming up a carburetor. I’ve got a 500 gal buried tank next to my shop in the back of my one acre so I’m going to put a connection for propane there. I added the whole container of oil that came with unit and hooked up the regulator hose to a 20lb propane tank. Then connected the battery cables and flipped the battery switch to on & pressed the start button on the remote fob. It tried to start then 2 seconds later it tried again & fired right up. The only thing I wish it had on it like my smaller 3500k generator, is a economy button to run at slower rpms if there is no load or a low load. This one seems to run at full throttle since I haven’t put a real heavy load on it yet.

I just purchased this generator after doing some research. I chose this one based on output, features and price. Very little setup involved, took about 15 minutes. Haven’t run it yet but the battery came fully charged and the unit turned over fine. It arrived in good condition and looks great.

After we lost power for a week following a major storm, I decided we had to pony up for a portable generator. The Westinghouse house brand is widely praised so I went with the biggest unit that could still fit in the corner of my garage (the WGEN12000DF was simply too big). I have only done some initial testing, but so far this thing is very impressive! Well built, great features, and the ability to use both gasoline and propane is excellent. Also love the remote start feature. My only negative about the WGEN9500DF is the fact that it allows up to 23% THD. I have numerous sensitive electronics so there is definitely a concern there, but otherwise this thing is excellent.

We bought this after a recent outage of electricity, although it has been an ongoing discussion in our house since the previous outage, which lasted 10 days. We have not had to use it as of yet, but will totally be worth the expense when we have this issue again.
