I bought this item from a national home improvement retailer online at the end of June. It was shipped via a 3rd party shipping company and arrived about a week later. The generator was protected via cardboard and styrofoam packing, and did not show any signs of damage in shipping. Everything was included in the box, including a wheel set. The wheels and mounting feet were easy to install by just myself. All you have to do is tip it on one side to install both the mounting feet and one of the wheels. Then you tip it over on the other side to install the other wheel. Once I had the wheels on, it was very easy to move by myself. I have an electrician coming over soon to install a manual transfer switch. Once that’s installed, I will test the generator and follow up with a review as to its performance. I will use this generator for emergency power loss.

I purchased a 950 k DF with out CO2 ,, sensor warning, What a well built unit for sure, After a few minor kinks I spoke to Westinghouse and within 2 days I had the replacement parts needed to make things right. Thus far I have tested this unit on both LP and gas, it's nice to be able to switch on the fly . I did note when you add the oil 1 Qt provided, when you check the oil level it's still a little low so I just add a little more until it showed in the safe zone, I also noticed in colder weather ( teens) it is difficult to start , however it will start up on LP just fine and you can switch right back to fuel if you wish. I will investigate further, The very good point about dealing with Westinghouse support thay indeed work to make things right. Myself I would not hesitate to purchase further with a Westinghouse product..Lastly if you receive a unit that has a default issue a lot of times damage is done during shipping.. I bought this about a month ago. The directions were simple to follow and it took about 30 minutes to get this unit assembled and running. Started on the first try and seems to be a quality unit. I am confident I will be ready for the next power outage.

Great price for the size of the unit. Enough power to provide the basics during an extended outage....refrigerator, water heater, dishwasher, master bedroom, internet modem, large room A/C unit. (Did not worry about powering central air). Simply plug into 50 amp connection outside, turn off the main breaker, hit the generator start button, flip the transfer switches from 'line' to 'gen' and you are in business!

I love that this generator can run off of propane as well as gas. It is easy to switch between the two, so we can be ready for long power outages. The remote start is also a bonus. I love the push button start feature. I could never pull start any generator we ever had.

We just bought the WGen9500DF and tried it out. We used oil provided and Propane and followed all directions and it started up just fine. We have a 1400 sqft house and it ran 2 friges, tv & wifi device, lights, and our well pump (bogged a little on start up for pump but then fine). We then turned off water pump breaker and with 1 frige running, TV and 3 lights we turned on the Central Air Conditioning system (3 Ton) and although it bogged down a bit with start up, it DID run it! Impressive! That said, we will probably get 1 portable AC Unit just in case. And although its heavy, not hard to move with wheels and handle and not as loud as some I've heard. We also purchased a running cover in case needed during a hurricane. Great Product! Very happy with this purchase. We also tried it

I just received the generator, opened the box and put it together in less than twenty minutes. Looks great, sounds great and now I'm ready for Hurricane Season! I purchased for ease of starting, cause as I continue to age pull starting is not going to be easy. Thank you!

I haven't used it yet but I'm prepared for this years hurricane. There are a couple of things that I'm excited about on this generator. First, It's a push button start or key fob. As a back up it does have the manual pull start. That I hope that I never have to use .At my age, pull start is just to difficult. Second, is that it is dual fuel. I love that fact that it runs of propane. That makes storing it so much easier not having to drain gasoline out of it. The instruction manual is very detailed. This is my first portable generator. I feel confident that I can run it properly.
