I bought this generator a little over a year ago at the recommendation of my electrician. I thought I wanted a Generac! Thank God he talked me out of that. This beast sat in my garage for a year until 2 weeks ago there was Hurricane Francine headed to the Gulf of Mexico. My electrician hooked up a generator plug outside of my breaker box, I purchased 20 gallons of gas and we waited. Sure enough the power went out and this wonderful piece of equipment powered 3 of the 4 bedrooms (which all has portable air conditioning), the side of the kitchen with refrigerator, the garage which has an upright freezer, the den (TV, internet router, 2 lamps). It was as if we never lost power! I'm so sorry I didn't buy this years ago. We lost power during Hurricane Ida in 2021 and we evacuated to Houston. A 4.5 hour drive took 17 hours!!! Never again. I have recommended this generator to my neighbors and family. So easy to use. Thank you

I bought this after the "big freeze" this year in Texas. From the time I cut the box open, I had it assembled and running in an hour. It fired up on the first touch of remote start. I have only run on propane so far. My end cover on back of motor was dented during shipping, and I am awaiting a replacement. Generator runs fine. I should be prepared for next storm.

I purchased this generator to power our house in the event of an outage. It generates plenty of wattage to run all the essentials in our house. The instructions were very clear and even explained how to remove the neutral bond (which was important since it is connected to an interlocked load center). I poured some gas in it and it fired right up. The push-button start is also a nice feature. Only thing I would recommend is to run it a few times when you first get it and immediately change the oil after. I did this and the first couple times there was some metal in the oil from the engine breaking in. After 3 times total the oil was metal-free and I felt it was ready for use.

The dual fuel is important. It has good features. The words "Inverter Generator" on the user manual cover are misleading. This (WGen9500DF) unit is not an inverter unit. Make sure to receive delivery in person and inspect. Unit box was destroyed and unit was delivered on its side. Sturdy frame kept damage to a minimum with just some fame scratches from what I could examine externally.

We're loving it so far. Setup took about 10 minutes thanks to the easy to follow instructions. Once we got oil (supplied) and fuel in and double-checked everything, it fired up first try. Super happy with it so far and I'm sure it'll serve us well in the future.

Shipping was fast. It was here in 1 week as advertised and in good condition. I really like the push button start feature and the remote start. I have only had it for a couple weeks, and haven't had a chance to put it through its paces. But it worked great after putting oil and gas in it. I'm looking forward to configuring it to hook up to a transfer box on the house.

This generator has all the features I was looking for (dual fuel, electric start, and even has remote start). It has an LED data screen that tells you the voltage, the lifetime run hours and maintenance reminder display. It also has a battery charger and propane connector hose included. Started it first time with propane. Runs great.

Read all the reviews, which were 95% all positive. The only negative ones were mainly dealing with shipping damage issues. Just received it yesterday, arrived in excellent shape. Set up and start up was easy. The only thing I needed to do was buy more 10W30 oil. The oil provided was barely enough to get it to the minimum safe level. I wasn't taking any chances just for peace of mind. I read some reviews about it being loud, not so. I put this together in my garage due to it being cold outside. When it started ( in my well ventilated garage) it was surprisingly quiet.

I did my homework and am more than satisfied with my purchase of the WGen9500DF. I now have power in central Florida when the hurricanes come my way as well as any other cause of an electrical outage. This thing is a beast! Minimal assembly and prep work was required and it was ready to go. I wanted the dual fuel option and enough power to keep my food supply fresh and the family comfortable. It provides all my needs and so much more. What a Great purchase.

Great out of the box. The directions were, in my opinion, a bit over complicated. I realize people will use any excuse to sue a corporation for any reason, but the safety warnings are too much. Started up without issue. I really like how the tools needed to complete the set up are provided.
