Never owned a generator before and we lost power for 5 days during an ice storm. Was told this was a good brand and was at a reasonable price! Never had any issues during my power outage after this purchase. Easy to use, remote start from my home, and dual fuel helped with our options. Would highly recommend!!

Please read this review. I'm a honest guy. It will save you some time. I received this generator 2 weeks ago. After reading assembly and starting instructions, I put oil and gas in the generator. I pushed the self-starting button. It ran through four automatic crank cycles, so this is a total of 16 attempts to crank. On the 5th cycle, it finally started, so I let it run for 30 minutes since it is new. I turned it off as instructed. I waited 1 day to try it again, since I read on-line there are issues with starting it. On the second day, I used the automatically starting button again, it did start after 2 cracks, however, after 2 minutes it starting idling as if was getting ready to run out of gas and then after 2 minutes of running it shut off. I tried re-cranking several times with no success. I checked the spark plug to make sure it wasn't fouled. It was covered heavily in carbon dust. I cleaned it and put it back in. I tried several times automatically cracking and manually cranking, which by the way is very difficult due to the compression. I weigh 200lbs and work out. It was not easy to crank even with me using my body weight to crank. I also waited about 2 hours in case it was flooded, but it still didn't crank after a couple cycles which is 8 times of cracking. I called Westinghouse customer service, and they said that they would have someone call me back. It was 2:30pm. No one called me back. The next day, I went and got a new a spark plug. I put in the new spark plug with no success. I did read in the reviews that Westinghouse has horrible service. I would recommend to Sam's Club to stop carrying this product. I called them back again today at 3:00pm and gave them my reference number. Once again, they said that someone will call me. Then they asked that I need to provide a picture of the receipt and SN#, which I had already provided them. I then proceed to call Sam's Club customer service to ask for it to be returned. They are currently working with the 3rd party vendor and Westinghouse to get it returned. I'm hoping it will be resolved. This is why I purchased at Sam's Club due to the easy of returning products. There are issues with starting this unit. If it is this hard on the initial starts, it will be worse after the first year as it gets older. DO NOT BUY THIS PRODUCT!!!!!

I bought it to use as a backup for my RV and it has been great it's the perfect generator to use in your r v. The generator has an app that allows you to connect it to your Wi-Fi and check it out without having to go where you've located. The generator it's a great feature.

I am a new home owner in in South West Florida and understand the importance of having a generator on hand in case of emergencies. After extensive research, I decided on the Westinghouse duel fuel unit for our home. This decision was based on many happy customers in may different forums. Westinghouse has proved itself as an excellent choice in the midrange price line. We hope to not need to use it but if we do I feel confident it will get the job done.

Works perfectly for our workshop. It can run all my woodworking tools and other maintenance equipment. I will eventually run electricity to the building, but in the meantime, this setup is working great. After this, it will serve as our backup power for the ranch.

I purchased this Generator back on Jan. 12 - 2025 , placed it in my utility building , never opened it until today , ( 01/24/2026 . I was unaware of the Free cover offer until today and I hope that I can still get the free cover. Also, I am aware that any / all warranty items began the day I purchased it . I have not yet assembled and can not evaluate it yet .

Delivered today. Took it out of the box today. Easy to assemble and store. Haven't started it yet but directions are clear and easy to follow

I recently bought this product and due to outage in my area. It is loaded with a lot of features and it started right away.

The generator worked great when first purchased. I haven't used it for a while and now it won't start.
