So the good first. My electrician ran a 50 amp breaker and tied it into the whole house. I thought I would need to select important ones and set it up that way. He said no this should run your whole house providing you don't go crazy meaning use a little common sense and not overdo it. So of course me being the procrastinator that I am I didn't set up the generator until the power went out. The set up is pretty easy and I got the thing up and running. I went inside turned the main breaker off. Started the generator went back in and through my 50 amp breaker on and we were in business. It ran for 2.5 hours until the power went back on. To my way of thinking I won't store gasoline for the generator. First thing I did was run the generator on propane to get it going. If I thought this was to be a long outage I would have went and bought gasoline also. Everything ran perfect on propane the heat, lights, two refrigerators freezers so I was very pleased with the performance. Now for the bad. There is no reason I can think of to have the 50 amp outlet on the generator impeded by the unfortunate placement of the wheel. The 50 amp extensions cord is very thick and was in the garage which made it very difficult to plug into the generator. So difficult that I wound up breaking a little piece of the outlet by the ground lug. I don't see it being a problem holding the cord in place but I would love to get it repaired and would also like a response from WH ( that's Westinghouse not the White House) I still give the generator 4 stars although it could have been lower because of this. Therefore, if you have a 50 amp extension cord that comes down on the angle which I believe most will because of the shear weight of the cord you actually have to bend the cord between the wheel and the generator to plug it in. now that I think about it 4 stars is for sure generous because of this problem. I posted a picture and the top slot is the ground slot and that's the one that is broken although it looks pretty normal it's now larger because I chipped it because of the difficulty plugging in.

I bought this product two months ago. Had an electrician install a interlock kit on my main panel with an inlet connection within 30 ft of my generator location. With the 50 amp outlet on the generator and a 50 amp extension I can run my house during power outages. This includes my well. Finally had the chance to use last week after a storm. Really didn’t limit any power usage.

bought this generator to run a refrigerator in the event of power service interruption. The generator is significantly overpowered for this task but every time the compressor on the refrigerator would kick on the GFI would interrupt the circuit. The work around was to buy a fitting for the 4-prong 30-amp plug which doesn't have a GFI. features that I like are: the start/remote start, clean running, smooth running. It was very easy to setup. I look forward to trying it on propane but I have not used that fuel yet. It is very heavy.

so far very happy set up was very minimal it fired up easy (after I remembered to turn on gas valve) I have not yet tested it with a heavy load but under light load seems very good if it does well under heavy load I will probably up my rating to 5 stars as I am so far quite impressed with quality and value for the money of the dozen or so gens I looked at this one had way more features and minimally more price

My next door neighbor purchased one a year ago and has had excellent service throughout several power outages in our area. With predictions of a busy hurricane season it was time to add one to our home, easy to follow instructions, started right up once serviced. Really appreciate the dual fuel option!

I bought this generator as a backup for my appliances and router due to the frequent power outages that I get in my neighborhood. As a new generator user, I found the setup easy to use and the power more than sufficient to run my fridge, router, and just about everything else on the 1st floor of my house - with power to spare. I would definitely recommend it.

I bought this generator in June 2023, because of the frequent power outages in my area, I could not be more pleased because this generator is just what I need to power my home, and it even has a remote control to prevent trips outside to start. Awesome!

This is my 2nd one. I loaned my old one out after the storm to a friend in Galveston. It ran my entire 2400 Sq Ft. home w/5 ton a/c/ after hurrican Beryl. I know of at least 5 people that have seen mine and purchased them prior to the storm. Now all most everyone on my block has ordered one. Do not wait till you need one and the power is out. Buy it and know how to operate it before you need it. Otherwise you will be in the dark.

I received the box with minimal damage (holes in box). After unpacking the paint on the front panel was chipped off. Two out of the four mounting feet bolts would not screw in due to the threads being stripped! I had to use smaller bolts, nuts and washers to secure that I supplied. I hope it holds up.Customer should not have to do that. There was not parts that could be sent as the threads are threaded into the frame. They would have had to send a new unit which I was not going to go through all that trying to ship this unit back. The unit does not start using push button or remote unless it is warmed up. You have to manually slide choke before starting cold. After warmed up they will start either way. This should not have to be. What's the use of remote start if you have to do that. I ran the unit for one hour and it seemed to run fine.

Worked good out of the box. Doesn't charge it's own battery. If the battery dies the starter stays engaged untill it smokes itself out. Tried to pull start and it pulls HARD. I'm a grown man and it back pulled me into it and the insides of the recoil EXPLODED! Brittle plastic all over. Left us with no genny till we can figure out the warranty. Back to the small predator genny walking on cords with no potable water. I'll update this review after we hear From the warranty department.
