Looking forward to really seeing what this bad boy can do! I purchased this generator specifically to run my entire house in case hurricane season gives us any big problems. Westinghouse has always been a solid name when it comes to reputation. It has everything I was looking for including a ton of power. One of my main concerns is keeping the refrigerator running so I will never have to throw away the entire contents ever again. I've done that three times already and thats plenty. My other main issue is staying cool in the Florida heat during a power outage. This generator should be able to run my central HVAC unit. My electric panel is generator ready.

ust got it tested after transfer switch install. Started after third try. Noise level is higher than moderate. I def would not place it behind bedroom wall. Got 9500DF and tested it with gazoline - after electric dryer started , voltage dropped ( I can tell by dimming lights in the house ) for few seconds, but after that , it picked up. Not bad, fairly priced.

Nice Quality generator with 457cc/30hp Dual Fuel engine. 9.5Kw is more than enough for my 2.5 ton AC/Heat pump, 30 gal Electric water heater and Refrigerator plus all the house lights, TV and Computer. Only wish that it had an 8 gal Fuel tank, 6.6 Gals means more refills during extended power outages. Had to get a 50 Amp power cord to use generators full potential.

When the generator arrived, it was very simple to get the wheels on and get it set to run. It started easily and ran great. I liked that the oil was even supplied. I plugged several different things in and ran them singly and combined and it powered everything. I ran it on gas and haven't tried the propane yet. I would say I can't wait until the next power outage to use it, but I'll have to settle for I'm glad to have it for the next power outage.

Last ice storm knocked out power for 6 full days, ended up traveling 75 miles to hotel after second day ( freezing ) This time we were prepared ! Purchased a Westinghouse 9500DFc. So glad we did, this last storm / flood no power 4 days….no problem ! Hit the remote start and lights , heat, water and yes TV internet lights. Even had neighbors stay over 2 nites. Best investment you can make. Oh and two fuel gave us confidence that we could last 10 days !!

Love this generator! Fired up flawlessly with remote from the first start and ran beautifully after. Powers our whole house running on propane. It is not as loud as our last generator. It has more features than our last generator and is very well built. Set up was a breeze. I researched a lot of generators and this one was the best for the price. We are very happy with our purchase.

I purchased this generator because of the ability to provide proper wattage to the home during extended power outages and use minimum fuel for my requirements. It was easy to assemble and prepare for the 5 hour break in run. No problems starting, running power to the home through proper mechanical interlock on electrical panel. Ran perfect on gasoline and the switch over to propane and back was easy.

Just bought yesterday and was easy to assemble and test. Unit fired right up on first try. Runs real smooth, and expected a bit noisy, but less noise than the other generator I was looking at to buy. I like the fob working over 200feet away. I'm sure it'll take care of all my electrical needs when emergency power is needed.

I did a lot of online research before ordering this generator. After receiving it, I can see why it's top rated! You get a lot of bells-n-whistles for the money - both gasoline (I use ethanol free) or propane powered, battery starting using key fob, trickle charger for battery included, 30 and 50A twist locks for power out (I am using for a whole house generator), wheel and handle kit included, multi-display meter on panel for monitoring voltage output, hours, etc. My electrician hooked it up and it powered the house like a champ. For me, this unit has everything I was looking for and more!

Right out of the box this Genny started right up. When I was researching Genny's before buying, the reviews said the batteries arrived dead so had to be charged before testing. Well mine arrived with a full charge and we hooked a 25 pound propane tank to it pushed the start button and she started right up. I use mine for a whole house generator for power outages and about three weeks after getting it all hooked up the power went out and was out for about 6 hours. I have it hooked up for manual switch over , and I had no trouble at all she started right up and ran like a charm until the power came back on from the power company and then I switched her back to house power. I run a refrigerator freezer and a deep freeze I would normally have AC but we didn't use it that day, coffee pot, toaster and a toaster oven, flat screen TV, couple of laptops, cell phone chargers, and a water fountain for the dogs,. I have a lot of other appliances too but we don't use them unless we absolutely need them. I had a highly recommend this dual fuel Westinghouse generator especially if you need one for a whole house generator. I'll be building I'm sort of a dog house around mine with open ends so that it can breathe when it's running but it will be covered to keep the elements off of it and it'll have a door that opens on the front so that I can get to controls
