Bought this because it seems they no longer carry the huge fresh sashimi-grade salmon sides in stores. Spent the extra money per pound specifically to use this as sashimi/sushi. Received the box today and opened it to find what looks like pre-cooked salmon portions. Definitely not fresh at all. I would never even consider attempting to eat this as sushi. Like, really?? Working on getting a refund. Ugh.

I received my order in three business days which I think is a reasonable amount of time. The fish was completely frozen with dry ice left over. I ate it as sashimi with Kanpachi, dressed in tamari and lemon with scallions for an enjoyable flavor. The fish tasted fresh and light and smelled great. The price is the lowest I've seen so far and it comes already portioned out and vacuum sealed for you. I recommend this fish.

More than I expected

We started ordering this online at the start of the pandemic. We were craving sushi and decided to make some at home. The price is not outrageous, very affordable. I would have given them five stars but the product is very waterlogged. When you first defrost it, let it sit for at least 10 to 12 hours on paper towels for the water to drain out of the fish. Of course covered and in the fridge. It's also easier to cut the fish when it's not completely thawed. Once thawed you will not get clean slices of fish. The texture becomes very mushy.

Very good quality, texture and flavor. Each boneless and skinless piece is vacumn sealed placed in a syrofoam container with dry ice. All arrived totally frozen upon receipt in Florida. The only reason I didn't give this a 5 star rating was because I do not believe the product I received is sashimi grade.

We used to buy it frequently when it was $8 off for Plus members years ago. The problem at that time was intermittent inconsistency of delivery/packaging. Product itself was consistently good. Recently delivery and packaging are consistently good but the product not as good. Last purchase, product itself was just terrible and we threw it in the garbage.

We have ordered several times and have never been disappointed!! This is such great tasting, fresh, delicious salmon!! We hope this is always available!!

Luckily we are having cool weather here. So, the insulated package arrived with still firmly frozen fillets. Though the dry ice was gone. Shipped Monday morning and arrived late afternoon Wednesday. From the box straight into my freezer. Really nice looking fillets. I’ve ordered several times over the last several years and these are undoubtedly the best I’ve received. Thick pieces. No flat tail end pieces. Make sure to order during cool weather only.

please add extra dry ice when ship across the country in summer time.

This product is excellent. Arrival was on time and the salmon was still frozen. The quality is excellent and I will order again.
