This order was professionally packaged in dry ice and received in perfect, frozen condition. The fillets are individually sealed in plastic pouches and easy to thaw when ready. I am a big fan of salmon, and this product did not disappoint in the least bit. It’s an excellent purchase for seafood lovers, and I’ll be buying it again!

Reading the reviews, I was worried that (being summer with 90 degrees) I would receive thawed Salmon. However, they were all frozen! The dry ice DID NOT make it, but the box and insulation were still cold. There was evidence of condensation, but once again, the FedEx trucks are not A/C controlled, so this is understandable. As soon as it was delivered, I pulled the package in and put all the salmon in the freezer. I’m looking forward to making Salmon Sashimi and other sushi items!

I ordered the sashimi salmon from Sam’s with my fingers crossed that this product would be wonderful. And it was excellent. The salmon arrived still frozen solid. The taste of the salmon was akin to what you would get in the finest Japanese restaurants.. I am incredibly pleased.

I just received my order and noticed right away different packaging and the contents seemed less than normal. I counted the filets and there are only 12 filets, so I was shorted! I would like this remedied either with a refund or replacement. In the past, I’ve also been dissatisfied due to the product already being 1/3 to 1/2 thawed, immediately after it was delivered to my home, so I was sure to cook those vs. eating raw, as it is intended. I never contacted you, but should have. This time, only one of the filets was partially thawed, and the dry ice was already melted, as usual. Please contact me ASAP.

This is a good product if you don't have access to a genuine sushi/sashimi restaurant. Assuming you follow the directions, the flavor is very good. Unfortunately, almost all of six pieces I've tried so far had a few bites of somewhat tough texture--not "melting in your mouth." Otherwise, this is a very good quality and convenient product.

First shipment arrived warm but Sam's made good and reshipped a new batch. Salmon is very good but pieces are not uniform like the picture but better than the varied fillets you get in the store prepackaged. Cooler was good but a flimsy inner box...need a slightly stronger master case.

I can't say enough good things about this product. Individually vacuum packed fillets were packed with plenty of dry ice in a styrofoam box. They were all very frozen upon delivery. I thawed them in the refrigerator overnight and patted them dry before use. Fresh as expected. Sushi/sashimi/poke/ceviche at home at a fraction of the restaurant prices!

At first I was very reluctant to ordering this, but I am so happy I did. Each piece of fresh salmon is individually wrapped which is great for portion control! The fillets are skinless and not fishy! I have had them baked in the oven with various marinades. I can't wait to try them on the grill!

Very happy with this salmon. It arrived within the prescribed time, was fully frozen with no leakage or signs of having melted during the delivery process, and is a truly quality salmon. Smooth, meaty, not fishy smelling or tasting, and each filet is a nice substantial size. I can’t believe the amount of great salmon we received at a relatively low price!

I don't know the exact reason, but one of the two boxes smells a little more fishy
