As someone who grew up with his uncle and helped him select, pick and sell watermelons as a teenager, I am not at all satisfied with the taste and freshness of these watermelons. It's as if they were picked two to three weeks early, which stopped the ripening process. If you don't grow your own, buying watermelons has become a real gamble and challenge.

I got this watermelon, looks delicious I wait exactly 3 days for opening, because I am to busy working, and then they get something wired I put attention and is rotten, I can’t even open , if I can said something better than this is a tell people please we aware of Sam’s fruit now because is not fresh,Everything is Freeze and your money is practically on the trash , sad I spent to much money and fruit and I throw all :(

I recently purchased three watermelons from Sam’s Club, and unfortunately, all three were rotten inside. This was very disappointing, especially because of the effort involved. Watermelons are heavy, I had to put them in the cart, load them into my car, carry them into my home, and only then discover that the fruit was not edible. I am 63 years old and live with rheumatoid arthritis, so that effort is not small for me. If the fruit had been good, it would have been worth it, but when all three were rotten inside, it left me frustrated and regretting the purchase. This is not the first time I’ve had this issue with fruit here, which makes me question whether the quality control process is being handled as carefully as it should.

I’m very surprised to have purchased a half rotten Texas grown watermelon because they are always juicy and delicious. This time, I cut it open only to find that one half was rotten and the other half was juicy and delicious. The plums, on the other hand, are always rotten! I have purchased these plumbs approximately three different times throughout the last several years and the are always ROTTEN:/ I recommend buying the Texas grown watermelons because the one half rotten watermelon that I selected was just a fluke. I do not recommend the plums because they are always rotten like the Mexican imported watermelons which I don’t recommend buying.

Very delicious melon. Some seeds but not many. I would buy again and the price was good also. I bought what was supposed to be a seedless watermelon at Wal-Mart but it was not seedless even though it had a seedless sticker on it. Now I remember why I like seedless.

Very disappointing. We purchased 2 watermelons-one with coloring slightly darker than the other with hope that at least one would be good. Unfortunately, both were as crunchy as celery after cutting them into bite-size pieces. One had no flavor at all; the other had a little flavor after sitting in the little bit of juice it made at the bottom of the bowl.

We were somewhat disappointed with the watermelon this time. The flavor was a bit tart. We began to question it as we were cutting it because the color was off as well - the flesh was very light. The second thing was the cost. We love the deals we can get at Sam’s, but this time, we found watermelons cheaper a couple places, which would have been okay if the Sam’s melon were good.

I bought 2 watermelon 2 weeks apart. They were gigantic watermelons for $6.98. The first one I bought was delicious. I went back over a week later for the second purchase and it was horribly spoiled. There’s a round trip distance between Sam’s and my home of roughly 70 miles.

Was told by a farmer that I had picked the perfect watermelon, “I guarantee this is a good one!” When I got it home, it was pink inside, not red, tasteless, truth is, I ate three bites of it and bagged it up and put it in the garbage, probably the worst tasting watermelon I’ve had in the last two years.

Delicious watermelon. Nicely colored with a large ground spot (yellow spot where it laid on the ground). Very sweet, great price, and oh so good! We bought one and went back a couple days later to get another and will continue on that way till they run out.
