I've bought 2 watermelons @ Sam's so far & neither one has impressed me. I can pick out sweet ones at other stores, but I'm 0 for 2 at Sam's. Is it me or their source? I don't know, but I'm not going to buy another one here. Sam's not recommended for watermelons.

Usually Sam’s has the BEST FRUIT out there of ANYONE every Summer, but this year doesn’t seem to be a very good crop for some reason? Picked & Shipped too Soon Perhaps? By Appearance they look like they would be Very good, but They’re not as Sweet and Juicy as they usually are at All! I’m pretty Disappointed in the taste of Most of the Fruit the Companies have Shipped to Sam’s this year.. I DEFINITELY Don’t Hold Sam’s Responsible for their Trusted Suppliers shipping inferior products .. And it’s NOT just at Sam’s, I’ve Noticed the Same to be True at MOST of the Grocery Stores this Year as Well for some unknown reason! And Several Other People I’ve talked to Say the Same thing.

Usually your fruit is better than Kroger. But It’s the second time your watermelons are not very sweet, and this time it was not sweet at all. I live closer to many other markets so it’s inconvenient to return produce in a timely manner. I’ll stick with other stores for watermelon. I also got your fresh cut pineapples and those were TOP quality! Can’t win ‘em all I guess. I still love Scan ‘n Go & nobody else has that! So I’ll be back to your store!

Why is it so hard to find a good melon nowadays?? This melon was tolerable. It really seems like it's hard to find a "seedless" watermelon that isn't bland and rubbery. I hate picking through seeds but it may be worth it to get a sweet and not rubbery watermelon.

The first watermelon I bought about a month ago was the best I’ve ever had. So another got another about 2 weeks ago and it was horrible! Had a big dry crack in the middle of the inside and it hard. No moisture. Tasted horrible too. I tried a 3rd one. Horrible again. How do you take a watermelon back that you’ve already cut?Asked Sam’s that and they said take a picture of it. They were nice enough to refund 1 of the melons. So I’m only out $7.00. Watch your melons!

I bought two watermelons yesterday. 1 was not seedless the other was seedless. The stickers were the same. The stickers also did not say seedless or seeded. They also did not say where they were from. First we had Mexico, then USA, Now generic sticker with no place they came from. I am concerned about the ground the watermelons are grown in. What toxins are in the soil.

The watermelon was tasteless and overly soft. Not with the price charged. When you have a price of 8.99 on a watermelon you hesitate. 1st thought “9 bucks?” 2nd thought “Man, this better be worth it.” It wasn’t. The inside of the watermelon seemed that it already had turned and started it’s spoiling stage.

This was one of the worst watermelons I’ve purchased this entire year. It appeared to be like it had been previously frozen, and it taste worse than that I didn’t get a chance to take it back to the store. I had to throw it away because I was only visiting Cleveland for a week for my grandson‘s prom and graduation wished I have had more time to take it back completely waste of money !!!

It was a total waste of money. It was very over ripe & mushy so so yucky & gross!! I love watermelon I have bought alot from Sams however I definitely be looking else where this year. With the memberships going up, & changing you 35.00 to 50.00 to get free shipping, I doubt I will be a club members after all the changes in Sams favor... you need your customers, might want to be looking out for their interest alot more.

I will stop buying watermelons at Sams. I rarely get a good one. The farmers pull them to early and they have a green taste. Not sweet at all. The meat of the watermelon is tough.
