I have always bought my watermelons from Sams, however, this one and the last few were not great. I brought this out to an event and was a bit embarrassed because it was bad. I had to prove that I just bought it that morning. I know that is not Sam's clubs fault. So this is no reflection on them. It is just hard to get good watermelon at the end of August. I should have brought the receipt back and got my money back, but again, it is not Sam's clubs fault.

I've bought 2 watermelons @ Sam's so far & neither one has impressed me. I can pick out sweet ones at other stores, but I'm 0 for 2 at Sam's. Is it me or their source? I don't know, but I'm not going to buy another one here. Sam's not recommended for watermelons.

This watermelon purchase was not up to good standards. The quality was terrible. The watermelon was soft and mushy inside. I tried it, and did not like at all. I threw it in the trash after one bite!

This Walmart was terrible. The texture was like rubber. Even after noticing that something was visibly “off” about it I decided to give it a chance and taste it. It was terrible. This is the 3rd time I've gotten a bad watermelon from this location. Never again. What a waste.

Threw away as much as we ate! Sometimes the entire melon was over ripe and mushy. It was unacceptable for a graduation party. They looked great from the outside
