The watermelons I've purchased from Sam's this year have all been sweet, juicy, and actually seedless.

Now that I know to look for the deep butter-yellow patch on a melon, Sam's Club takes the guesswork out of shopping for a great melon.

I bought several watermelons from local grocery store and they were not very good the melon that I got from Sam's was large and very sweet and juicy

Watermelon had a lot of yellow rinds and I had to cut most of them out and barely had any watermelon left.

At first I thought they were too small but they were perfect. Stayed fresh and didn't throw any away.

At this price I had to try my luck for a good quality, good tasty extra large seedless watermelon. Glad I did. Even gave me the idea to take some over to my grands children's house.

Wasn't sure if it was going to be good becauseit wasso earlyin the season, but I picked out the watermelon and it was so bright red and juicy. Gave half to my niece and she asked where I purchased.

The watermelon was not sweet. I think it was harvested too early or maybe the weather was a reason for it not having the sweet flavor. It looked good. Even showed to have sugar marks.

I am so disappointed in this watermelon. I chose one with a large yellow spot, which is a good sign. After cutting it open, I tasted several pieces. None had any flavor or aroma. It was also mealy in spots.
