I've never purchased a watermelon with a strong camphor smell on the outside. I noticed once home when my hands had that smell. On investigation it was the seedless watermelon. I don't know if they all are like that or this is someone's idea of a joke. You need to check them just in case it's toxic.

I ordered the melons on-line that process worked very well. The pick-up went fairly well. Some of the melon were "spoiled" about (4). But for next year I would still ordered them from Sam's Club but would order a lesser quality (50) would be the top.

I bought this on April 8 and I went to cut it on the 11th. Well it was rubbery tasting . The texture wasn't right. We couldn't eat it. We had to throw it in the trash. I was soooooo disappointed. I was looking forward to some watermelon. I should have gotten my money back.

First watermelon was almost white inside and went into the trash and I had them replace the melon. Went to cut it today and put it in the fridge and found that it had exploded all over my kitchen. This is the third watermelon I have had from Sam's Club explode. This will also be the last. Researched shows the reason for it to explode is because is had a bacterial infection inside. Said to say I will never buy another melon from Sam's Club ever.

It looked fine, Nice size, good color green stripes, no bad spots on the outside, I cut it open was pretty red. The red melon inside was so hard it was liked eating the rind. Never experienced anything like this before. You would choke on it if you tried to swallow it. Glad I did not give it to my grandchildren, # on it was 4032 Mexico.

I have purchased two of these from Sam's and they were both terrible. They are suppose to be "seedless" and there are no black seeds, but there were hundreds of little white ones and the watermelon was mushy and had no flavor. I would rather pick out the black seeds.

This watermelon is one of the worst I have ever purchased. It looked good on the outside with a yellow bottom and it passed the tonk test but turned out to have extremely tough insides with very little flavor. It was very grainy and hard to cut or chew.

Every year i take a gamble hoping thats Sam's has resourced juicy firm SWEET WATERMELON. I GOT JUICY AND FIRM WHICH IS BETTER THAN PREVIOUS YEARS BUT I DID NOT GET SWEET, WATERMELON NEEDS TO BE ALL 3 JUICY, FIRM AND SWEET. VERY DISAPPOINTED BC WATERMELON IS MY ABSOLUTE FAVORITE FRUIT.

Sam's watermelon qualifies as the worst, completely unedible watermelon I have ever tasted (that is saying a lot). Attempted to get a refund by taking the receipt to Sam's with a phone photo of the watermelon. The customer service agent refused, saying that returning the physical watermelon was required for a refund. Returning a heavy, sloppy, cut watermelon for a simple refund is a lot to ask (for their quality mistake). Makes me consider cancelling my Sam's membership.

I bought this watermelon two weeks ago. this for my first time. Whoever bought a watermelon, they were lucky if they were sweet, the watermelon that I bought had no flavor whatsoever, I literally threw it away because I didn’t wanna make another trip to go get another one at Sams. If I could score this, I would give it a zero score. I’m sorry to say but I love my watermelon and I bought other watermelons for other places. Some of them might’ve not been that sweet, but they were OK to eat, but this one was not, I did throw my receipt away so I think I could’ve gone anyway to Get another one, but I didn’t wanna have to go again. I was really disappointed that it was my first time. That ruin my chances of buying another one
