As you can see only bought a couple days ago. Working on getting everything ready to go. I like that nothing seems to be too complicated. We are new to the RV scene so this will be a good addition to all the other stuff we have gotten. Saw several people using the iGen4500 at a dog show and liked design and the quietness. This unit is a warranty replacement for one I bought in July 2021. Out of the box, the autochoke did not work. fortunately I found a video on YT that showed me how to fix it in about 10 minutes. Unit ran well and met my power needs for my 5th wheel trailer. Unfortunately, the inverter failed after about 125 hours. Warranty service is a hassle. WH's tech support line is not supportive. Finally took my unit to an Authorized Service Center and it took them several weeks to get a replacement authorized. After that WH shipped the replacement in a few days. Unfortunately the autochoke doesn't work on the replacement and the YT video doesn't seem to apply. Back to the tech support grind!

This inverter generator is better than your traditional generator! It is super quiet - I can't even hear it inside my house, and the neighbors that live next door certainly would not be able to hear it running. It is VERY easy to start with the remote or push button. I started by plugging in a couple of box fans and several lights to test it out. The load was still near 0 with a running time of approx. 15hrs on a full tank. It is rather large and heavy, but easy to move around with the pull out handle and wheels.

After lots of searching for an inverter generator for my RV I settled on this one. It's powerful enough to run everything in my RV, including the AC, and relatively quiet for the price point. The reason for the 4 stars is the automatic choke. Out of the box the generator started, but smoked like crazy and would not run properly. After some research online I found a service bulletin regarding the automatic choke. Apparently it's common during shipping for an electrical connection behind the main panel to pop loose which impacts the automatic choke. After reconnecting it seems to run without issue. We'll just have to see how long before I have to open it back up again and reconnect. For now everything is good.

We are big NASCAR fans and it will go with us to all races & all other camping trips that we have to be self contained. One question please...my husband wanted the generator cover & it didn't give me an option for it as a free gift. Can I get it instead of the power strip? Thank you.

purchased this unit back in April of this year and its been a headache to keep unit on. i tried using it for the second time this past weekend and its still doing the same thing. I Filed a claim and sent video. I hope they can correct issues or replace unit. I will update review at later time.

I’m only at Day-1 of this purchase so a lot remains to be seen, but it did start right up and it runs quiet and smooth. I wish it had an overall hour usage meter so I know when to change the oil, etc... I’ll likely buy an hour meter aftermarket very soon. That’s my only complaint so far.

Very happy with this generator! Bought it to replace a larger, much louder generator and I love it! It is extremely quiet even when running our AC unit in the RV. Also love the electric start/stop and the digital readout, neither of which the older unit had. The gas cap is also well designed and it's easier to fill. Pull-out handle also works well. Great generator!

Bought October 2020. I have used it only 5 times so far and it has run great and starts easy. Good on gas, like the remote start. Suppose to get down to 10 degrees in Houston Tx. this week and they are talking about rolling blackouts being possible. If it happens I know the IGEN4500 will be ready for the task.

I resently used my son- in-laws Westinghouse Inverter Generator. I am elderly & was able to operate on my own. So I ordered myself a Westinghouse Inverter Generator. I love the remote, on & off button, pull handle & more. I could have got a bigger one but wanted one not too heavy to pull so I could be pretty independent! Thank you
