We purchased this generator a week prior to an unprecedented snow/ice storm in our state. We were without power for about seven hours and we found this generator was exactly what we needed. It is powerful enough to run what we needed and the added bonus was the quietness of it. So far I'm very proud of my purchase.

Bought this to have a backup power source for Freezers and electronics when the power goes down. Have not had a chance to test it yet, but did fire it up, that was easy and it was pretty quiet. I like the Luggage type pull handle to move it , makes it easier on us weaklings.

Bought this less than a year ago and used maybe 4 times after following the break-in instructions then just quit and wouldn't start. Customer Service believes the "TCI" needs replaced and is sending it to me. We'll see how that goes but so far I'm happy with the service.

Just received it a few days ago, it took a while to get it going, would start and shut down, every time I restarted it, it would run longer and longer. After 4-5 restart it runs continuously. Very quiet!!! and very easy to move around. Love the remote start!!

Just purchased my second IGen4500 after how good the first has done. Unboxed the first one and immediately took it hunting to run my trailer. Fired up great and ran in 15-20 degree weather with no problems all week. Fuel consumption is awesome with eco setting. Generator is very quiet and even when it is 3 am. Can’t wait to parallel these.

After considerable research, this Westinghouse product is EXACTLY what I have been searching for. After receiving it and using it, it has far exceeded my expectations. Truly an incredible piece of equipment for a very reasonable price. I could not be happier!!

I got this unit because my other one is worn out. It is used mostly for dry camping and as a back up at my home. I have had it for several days at this time. I got it because of all the good reviews and hope it lives up to them. I set it up as told and had no trouble with it. The unit started up on the first try with the remote start and even after setting awhile it was a easy start with the pull start. I allowed it to run for a little while before putting a small load on it and not trouble. Later I pluged up my camper to it and it had not trouble running everything in it. So as of now i can say I believe it to be a great unit and will do the job of other higher price units. The only problem I have is it is a little louder that I hoped but it is still quit enough that it will be no problem when camping . Yes I will recommend this to anyone that needs a good unit.

I purchased this particular Inverter generator because of how much power it produces vs cost. It's much cheaper then the Honda's of the world (not saying they are bad just out of my budget. For now). So far it's seems like it will do exactly what I need which is to power my house (minus the 220 loads) items that I will need during a power outage. The newest model does have an hour meter in the digital display. I don't care that the 30 amp plug is upside down or not. Just use a bungee cord or coat hanger around the handle to relieve cord strain and this will keep it plugged in nice and tight. Only have had it a few weeks so can't comment on durability but I bought it for the price and the electric start (other family members come to my house during a hurricane so this allows them to start it) so time will tell

The unit came in a sturdy box and Styrofoam, everything was there that was needed to get started. Completed the minor assembly, Gave it some time to break-in using a electric smoker that would very the power for 10 hrs. Starts quickly and has performed like it suppose to. Oil change is not the easiest but the funnel does its Job.

We bought this generator to use on our RV and wow, it is so quiet! Much quieter than even some of the other brands marketed as "quiet". The remote control feature is so nice, not having to go out to manually start the generator when it is cold. Great purchase!
