Everyone is talking about Honda generators how good they are. I did give a change to Westinghouse to prove me wrong and they did. I bought iGen4500 not long ago for our trailler to run AC and othere aplliances in that. I test it with AC, Refrigirator and microwave on and iGen4500 can handle this no problem. Remote start make it even more convineance to use it.

I purchased the iGen 4500c to replace a generator that was stolen. It is easy to set up out of the box. You just need to add oil (included), connect the battery, add gas, turn the fuel valve to on, turn the rocker switch on and press the start button. It is really quiet and is easy to maneuver with the telescoping handle.

I purchased this to replace a stolen generator. After researching the options I decided on this model. It cranked right up with the push button electric start and is super quiet.

This is a good generator. We had problems that the unit would not start with the electric start. The battery needed a charge. Now, it runs good. Westinghouse did respond with support.

Just purchased and completed 1/2 of 5hr breakin. Runs well and quiet for 5000watts. Changed oil after 2.5 hrs and came out cloudy. Suggest changing oil after breakin to cleanout debris. Oil changes can be messy. Drain does not vacate all oil thru opening in external cover of generator.

So far so good. Its very quiet. Gassed up and it fired right up with no issues. The key fob is a great addition. Couple of non deal breakers are i wish the voltage menu would start with a V however it is a U. The remaining runtime estimate is under F. Little confusing on the alphabet they use. Also the fuel level is listed in liters instead of gallons. I feel like this generator will meet my needs.

Fired right up and hasn't skipped a beat. The remote option is a nice add for when its raining and just don't wanna go out and touch it. Runs my 15000btu a/c with no problem and is decently quite. Would recommend for a well priced inverter generator.

With the exception with my current service issue i have two of their generators and absolutely love them. After 2 years its one pull and starts right up.

I bought the unit almost 2 years ago. It runs great, nice and quiet in my opinion. However, it appears my Ducar propane pressure regulator has failed. I took it off the assembly with the other silver regulator pieces and gas will flow through them fine. But nothing through the Ducar unit. I realize that it is an on-demand type of regulator in that it works off vacuum from the generator itself. So no gas should flow until the generator is turning. I've tried contacting Westinghouse and have not gotten a solution from them yet. I did receive the standard AI email that let me know they received my issue but no response on what to do about it. I found a replacement valve on their site, but it says they don't have any in stock. I asked for a suggestion for a replacement and again no response yet. The unit runs great on gasoline and it ran great on propane until the regulator stopped working. Hopefully they will see this review here and help me out.

I bought this unit a few months ago, did a proper break in, and had it charging ready for when it was needed. When it was needed it would not stay running, it would rev up and quit. I submitted warranty claim and it has been sitting in a shop for 3 weeks. I needed it for camp in 2 weeks, now I am looking to either buy another inverter or cancel a family trip. Not a great start.
