Bought this to run my entire Travel trailer while off grid. Started first push of the remote straight out of the box. After adding oil of course. Run quite and smooth. Can't wait to put it to use in the great outdoors.

Great generator, we lost power for over 7 days from our area getting hit by bad storms. It rain over 20 hours before having to refill it. It kept my fridge and everything running. I had some normalcy with it running.

bought 5 years ago, it has been great! We have used this generator in many different locations and times. the only thing we have replaced is a battery We couldn't have done any better than this

I just bought the generator only had it for a few days and it's the most perfect generator it runs my AC with no issues the compressor kicks on it doesn't bog down or nothing I couldn't be happier with the choice I made of generator I bought

Just purchased this. I liked that it is dual fuel. I needed a propane generator and wanted one that is inverter technology. I will rate its performance later

Purchased a igen5000C in December of 2025. Had only operated it for the breaking period, then a January 2026 snow/ice storm was predicted. My father-in-law attempted to start his older generator but it wouldn't start so I transferred my igen5000C to him and ordered another. This igen5000C has also only operated for the breaking period but if it runs with the same reliability as my daughters igen4500C I'll be satisfied.

So far I am loving the iGen5000. Only had it a couple of days now, but it seems to work great. I have 2 other Westinghouse generators that have been very good. I have the iGen2500 and a WH3700ixLTc. I have had those 2 generators for several years and they have always worked great. The feature I like the most on the iGen5000 is the electric start. No more having to pull a start rope!!

I just received this generator. Packaging was fantastic; simply open the top, remove the manuals, oil and tools, remove the upper styrofoam packaging, slice the four corners of the box, roll the plastic cover down, and lift the generator out. The unit comes with the exact amount of motor oil required (0.6 L) and a threaded funnel that threads into the dipstick port. After filling with oil, and adding a small amount of ethanol-free gasoline, the engine started on the second pull. There was no smoke or odd sounds. Speaking of sounds, this generator is QUIET! Very nicely built, with lots of special features on the front panel. I am very excited to use this camping in a few weeks.

I have ran Predator inverter generators in the past. Due to getting a couple bad Predator units i decided to go blue. So far so good. I love the way the Westinghouse is set up. It seems quiter than a Predator also. The price is also better than Predator.

This generator is so easy to set up and is a fuel sipper! That is one of the reasons I purchased it. I will be using this for my home for backup power for the furnace,a few lights,fridge,hotplate,cpap machine and tv/internet. It has a built in telescoping handle for ease of transporting. I also purchased the generator running cover so it will be ready to perform no matter what the weather is doing.
