I received the generator today. The instructions were very clear and easy to understand. The generator is quiet, and I look forward to using it for a long time!

I bought this for my service company trailer. I power an air compressor, heater, lights, fridge and a microwave. I never have any issue with powering any of them. Runs super quiet and always starts on the first or second pull.

My husband had to contact the service center,in order to get the generator to run remotely as promised,he would only recommend it if the buyer was mechanical minded.

Bought this to run my travel trailer on. So far it does the job. It is very nice and It is very quiet and I like the features on it. I just hope it last a long time.

The first time we put gas in the generator the gasoline all dripped out. This thing is huge and very heavy so we couldn’t see what was going on underneath. Waiting on a call from the manufacturer.

I live in Puerto Rico and after hurricane Maria in 2017 my generator broke down. After months of studying several generators I decided for this one. Best decision ever. Super quiet and economic. I can handle it all on my own. Huffy recommend!!

So far I am loving the iGen5000. Only had it a couple of days now, but it seems to work great. I have 2 other Westinghouse generators that have been very good. I have the iGen2500 and a WH3700ixLTc. I have had those 2 generators for several years and they have always worked great. The feature I like the most on the iGen5000 is the electric start. No more having to pull a start rope!!

I just received this generator. Packaging was fantastic; simply open the top, remove the manuals, oil and tools, remove the upper styrofoam packaging, slice the four corners of the box, roll the plastic cover down, and lift the generator out. The unit comes with the exact amount of motor oil required (0.6 L) and a threaded funnel that threads into the dipstick port. After filling with oil, and adding a small amount of ethanol-free gasoline, the engine started on the second pull. There was no smoke or odd sounds. Speaking of sounds, this generator is QUIET! Very nicely built, with lots of special features on the front panel. I am very excited to use this camping in a few weeks.

So far I’m extremely satisfied with the design and a lot of the bells and whistles like covered buttons, for moisture resistance. Huge plus: Can charge the battery with a common connector from the front panel!! Also, it comes with a multi-digital display for more than just hours ran! All in all, I couldn’t be much happier since this is as modern with features as they come. Plus, they give your a wireless remote for start, an oil change funnel, and a charger!

Purchased a igen5000C in December of 2025. Had only operated it for the breaking period, then a January 2026 snow/ice storm was predicted. My father-in-law attempted to start his older generator but it wouldn’t start so I transferred my igen5000C to him and ordered another. This igen5000C has also only operated for the breaking period but if it runs with the same reliability as my daughters igen4500C I’ll be satisfied.
