Purchased a igen5000C in December of 2025. Had only operated it for the breaking period, then a January 2026 snow/ice storm was predicted. My father-in-law attempted to start his older generator but it wouldn't start so I transferred my igen5000C to him and ordered another. This igen5000C has also only operated for the breaking period but if it runs with the same reliability as my daughters igen4500C I'll be satisfied.

I have 3 medical device to run all nite, the 4500 will do that with time left over, with the remote its a snap. Thanks for a great product Don

Awesome little generator and so quiet ! The only thing I don't like is the oil fill location . It is hard to reach and fill without making a mess .

Great, quite, but next to impossible to change oil. Drain plug behind starter motor and no room for your hand to replace drain plug.

So far it is working great, although it starts hard if I don't shut the fuel valve off after running it.

Died while running after 100 hours. Wouldn't restart. Overload light on startup, no load connected. Did all troubleshooting.

This inverter generator is the ultimate solution. If they make em bigger than this one and as quiet I will purchase that model.

Worked great. Powered all we wanted on our 27' travel with the AC cooling the trailer in 90 degree temperatures.
