We live in the mountains and wanted a generator for when the electric system goes out. I wanted and inverter generator with push button electric start. The inverter was well packed with no damage on arrival. I followed instructions and it fired up with the first press of the starter button. I was also pleased that it shipped with a little trickle charger for the battery, and proper funnel for the oil. Oil was in a separate container for shipping.

Bought the igen 4500 for my RV and couldn’t be happier. It’s extremely quiet and powerful and will easily power my 15000btu a/c and microwave at the same time. It comes with tools, oil and funnel to get you started, unlike a Honda that comes with nothing. It’s also way less money and has a very high rating on most websites. If your like me and don’t want to pay exorbitant prices for a name, try this Westinghouse. Pretty sure you’ll love it.

This generator is exactly as advertised. It is as quiet as indicated, was easy to set up and start. The battery was fully charged so the remote start worked immediately. The ECO mode works well and adjusts RPMs as designed. First impressions are this is a well-made, solid, compact generator. After setting it up, I operated some power tools/saws to test the generator and the ECO mode which worked well. Overall, I'm impressed and satisfied that this generator is exactly as hoped for.

Had to return the first one that I got, didn't run right. So far, this one is perfect. After doing the oil, battery and gas as instructed, it started right up on the first press of the remote. Runs very smooth and quiet, also the 30 Amp plug is right-side up with the ground on top the way its supposed to be. I was worried at first because the shipping box was a little beat-up but there was no damage to the generator. I connected it to my house six circuit transfer switch and it ran everything without any problems. I'm very happy with it.

Bought this generator for the sound level and maneuverability. It weighs just under a hundred pounds and I can load and unload this without any help. Have no issues with the unit at all. Added oil & gas, connected the battery and started it up. Done.

This Generator will run my entire 5th wheel Rv, the only thing that wakes it up is the electric hot water heater, But I can run it on propane. The generator runs the Ac, Fridge, Flat Panel Tv, Dish Network receiver, 1100 watt Microwave and on-board converter and practically never gets off an idle. It is quieter than the 2000 watt Honda Inverter that I have been using and can run multiple appliances at the same time. Awesome.

I've recently bought it, so can't say much about any problem might face during normal use. After connecting the battery (it came disconnected), adding oil, gasoline, I attempted to run it using the manual start without charging the battery but it did not start. After charging the battery for about 30 min, it ran with a push with very low noise level. It came with a remote start/stop which is a very convenient feature. So far so good.

We recently purchased this generator for camping. So far so good, Even fully loaded to 85% its super quiet. The remote start feature works flawlessly. We would recommend this to anybody looking for a quality generator with all the features. I've seen a few people complain about no oil fill funnel or spark plug wrench, ours came with both items and new oil for the first fill up as well.

The iGen4500 is a beast with many excellent features, including electric start and remote start. Plenty of power for my needs at this point, plus the option to run a second iGen4500 in parallel to double the power if needed in the future. Very quiet - great for camping or for extended power outage from a hurricane.

This is my first generator and I've been pleasantly surprised. The quick-start guide is straightforward and clear. Add oil. Add gas. Connect battery. Push button. Cranked up immediately and ran steadily. Handled a full load no problem and it really is a quiet generator. I'm 100% happy with my purchase and so happy to support a great American company!
