Needed a quiet and dependable generator to power an RV and other household appliances. This is above and beyond. Super quiet and starts with the push of a button on the first try. No issues and no stalls. Out performs the Honda that is twice the price. Easy to use and easier to move and transport.

After an exhaustive review of all the models and brands available in the market, the Westinghouse Igen4500 won by far its competitors. Once I received it, the process of filling oil and fuel for the first ignition was really simple. Up to 21 hours of continuous use with a single 4 gallon fuel tank. Really impressive. The noise level is low compared to other generators and the engine runs smoothly and smoothly. Definitely the best option !. 100% recommended.

Delivered on time and in excellent condition. Had it out of the box went to the quick start guide and added the oil and fuel. Used the remote start. Started on the second try. I let the engine warm up for 5 mins. and plugged in my 30amp cord to my travel trailer. Tested the a/c, frig. and lights. Just returned from a 2 day trip and no problems running the generator. Only used one tank of gas for the 2 days in the Keys. Great price!

Bought this for our RV and a backup for the home power in case it goes out. Seems pretty quiet and easy to use. The oil is a bit hard to fill but it came with a funnel. I'm sure I'll misplace it though when it comes time to add oil again. Overall happy with the purchase.

I purchased about 1 month ago, so I can't speak for it's reliability. To start the first time, you need to put in the oil and install the battery (both included), and fuel it up. Mine has the electric start and it started right up. It is pretty quiet. I like the controls give you alot of information about what is going on.

I bought this for my travel trailer. It runs a 15k btu ac unit, all lights and the microwave without breaking a sweat. Break in procedure advises using only 1500 watts. Every accessory on ,including the ac only registered 1300 watts. Super happy i bought something and it gives me what i need and more

Just got this and all good out of the box. Connected battery, added oil and gas and it started. BTW the oil amount and type is on the outside near the oil plug (but not in the manual). I tested it with a hair dryer and there was some hunting of rpm as the dryer cycled. Will test more later.

Excellent generator, bought during Covid time frame, use this for a remote weekend cabin on and off, in the summer I use for 2 ac’s and a cpap , machine and basic stuff . Sometime it stays in for 24-48 hrs even 72 hrs. Switched to synthetic oil early on.and change oil regularly between 60-80 hrs or when dirty which in the summer is 1x a month . Only issues I’ve had : oil changes are messy, it drains to the plate under it where there is a drain plug which allows you to drain to a oil pan, but it’s still messy and sometimes oil comes out when you think you got oil out later after running it , not best design, push button starting issues after a crap Tom of hrs in it ( not all the time ), still need to trouble shoot BUT after 5 yrs it could be the button , the starter. Rarely use the pull cord, only if if super cold in the teens and the old start choke don’t work after it tried to start by push button. It has a cold start and RPM’s will raise higher if it’s super cold for a few minutes then drop down.I’ve used this on a ext cord to run lights to another cabin probably 150ft-250 ft away on eco mode more than what was suggested to do with no issues for a while. Great gage showing how many hrs left based on load and fule in tank.forgot I had to re tie a “ not” in the pull cord handle .. Over all very reliable inverter with zero repairs.

After a lot of research I decided to go with the iGen 4500. After receiving my generator , I did the break-in. Two oil changes with no load and one oil change after 25% load (that's with the A/C(13500w), TV, Radio, Refridge, and all lights running on my camper) turning on the microwave it would go to 75% load. Gotta say no issues, except for overfilling oil and having to clean up that mess. It has started with ease with all 3 methods. Since it's my 1st generator, I'm hoping for many many years.

Bought this for my boat and I continually get comments about how quiet it is, which is very important when you are out in nature. Had a little trouble at first with one of the internal gears sticking but it hasn't been a problem since. Also, it only shuts off when I turn off the fuel which takes a few minutes but is not an issue. I like how solid it is and doesn't take up a lot of space.
