Bought this inverter to run travel trailer. When received it ran rough but discovered choke on full choke. Moved , with my finger, to open choke and inverter works as described. Not as quiet as I would have liked but works perfectly I definitely would recommend.

My iGen2500 arrived on time and it took less than 10 min to prepare for start. The engine started just fine on the very first pull - impressive. Easily powers a bathroom heater, will have to check other items later. Looks like a great deal for the money so far.

I purchased an iGen5000c the first of August. The set up was easy, but I recommend to only pour in about 2/3 of the supplied bottle of oil and check the level before adding more. When I pressed the start button, it fired up in just a couple of seconds. It is way quieter than my Honda lawnmower. I have it in my back yard just around a corner of the house about 20 feet away from the backdoor. I went into the house, and with the door open, I couldn't hear it over the TV. It easily powered my refrigerator, lights and TVs with plenty left over to still be able to run a microwave, toaster oven or even a small window AC unit.

Just unboxed it and it seems well built. I like the luggage style handle and wheels a lot. Definitely bigger than I anticipated but I’ve never had a portable generator before so don’t think it’s specific to this one. Haven’t actually turned it on yet so can’t comment on how it runs.

About 1/2 hour after it arrived, I put in oil, gas and hooked up the battery and it started right up. We got it for out 29' travel trailer. It will run the AC and microwave at the same time with power to spare. I love the readout that gives you the power usage and of course the remote start. The 30A plug was installed in the correct orientation to allow the card to hang correctly.

I have tried a couple of other comparable units to this one and this unit seems to be quitter. I've even found this unit starts easier than the fuel injected unit i tried. The starter doesn't sound like it is laboring trying to start. It kicks right off with the remote and stays active for more than 4 hrs. in standby mode. Price wise the unit was lower than most of the others and if you shop around a little you may find it a bit cheaper as well. Very Happy so far!

I bought this for a 20' Travel trailer to power my AC 13,500btu and also to run the microwave if needed, upon reading other reviews this fit my needs perfect to run AC and microwave or to charge phones and run a small fan, more than enough watts and power. Its plenty quiet as is and would be more quiet if you put it in a genny box like im going too, of course with adequate ventalation. The price and power this thing makes is the right price than any where else that "marks up" price for "camping RV use" Follow proper break in inside the manual, im running a space heater on high and its a about 25% which is sufficent as im under the 50% power (1850) watts So if you want to power ac microwave and some misc small things, this iGen4500 will do just that

After months and months of research, my husband decided on the Westinghouse iGen4500 generator. We could not be more excited with how smoothly the generator fired up. We are excited to take it out camping this next week and try out the remote start/stop feature!

I’ve had this a week and have around 12 hours on it. It runs great with no issues. It won’t handle both of my rv air conditioners but they’re 22 years old and likely need more power to start up. So far we love this generator and it’s much less expensive than some competitors.

Bought the iGen 4500 to use with our RV perfect size to run everything I need on the Rv while traveling and boondocking. Arrived by ups in good condition and was easy to add the oil, connecting the battery wiring was easy just plug wires together. After adding oil and before adding fuel used the cord to rotate the engine over several times to ensure engine had good lubrication throughout before starting. Added gasoline and started using electric start button, started right up. Ran for a few minutes shut off and started with FOB and again started right up. Plugged into RV and turned on microwave and had 25% power loading turned on air conditioner and no issues all works as expected. The FOB remote start is great, my wife can start and stop as she needs from inside RV. Quiet enough. No issues to complain about here so far great addition to our RVing.
