being a mechanic, I had the fore thought to order a carb jet kit since I would be using this at high altitude. found detailed instructions online and installed in a half an hour. installed battery, added gas and oil, and generator fired right up. Only have 10 hours on it at this point, but I am very pleased!

Recieved generator with in 1 week of purchase. Which was quick due to factory shutting down due to the covid. Followed instructions accroding to the Westinghouse quick start manual. But the generator would not run right and would shutoff when any load was applied. Called technical support and was told I would revived a call within 24 to 48 hours. Hope this issue can get resolved quickly

I’m very pleased with the product. It didn’t take long to set up and I had it running in no time. The remote start and push button feature are very convenient and allow accessibility from inside the trailer. Overall, I am more than pleased with the product and would recommend it to anyone trying to find a great generator for your trailer.

Living in NC, need to be extra prepared. Just bought this unit based on other positive reviews. Added oil, plugged in battery and it started right up on very first try. Build quality looks good and everything is logically laid out. It's also very quiet for a generator. Time will tell on durability and reliability, but confidence is high as this point.

Did an initial run-in with light and varying loads. Ran fine for about three hours until the fuel ran out, although the fuel level and remaining runtime displays were zero the entire time. Additionally, the oil fill/check arrangement is not ideal and easy to overfill.

My son in law was the first to purchase after I researched this generator. We Elk hunt every year and we dry camp with our pull trailers. We used it for a full week without any issues. It was great on fuel and the remote start was a fantastic addition to our prior generator that we had to go out in the cold to start and stop.

I just received the product and proceeded with the minimal assembly. Just plug the battery add oil and gas and start. It started with no issues. The user manual and other instructions are complete and easy to follow. It ran for about one hour and worked flawlessly . I am looking forward to run it under real conditions for several hours.

I have sold many brands of generators over the years including the Onan 4500 which is basically the same as this Westinghouse 4500. The Onan was a great trouble free generator so I could not pass this up for the cost of the Westinghouse versus the Onan. Put the oil and fuel into the generator and if fired right up with the remote, couldn't be happier with the purchase.

I bought this to use camping and as a backup for my house. I haven't put it through a true test while camping but using around the house its very quite. This was one of the deciding factors for buying. The other was having the running watts more than the 30amp load.

This generator was purchased about a month ago and I am excited because it fits the dual-purpose of having a backup power source for our house, yet is portable enough for our RV. The generator came with clear instructions (rare!) It fired right up after adding oil and gas It runs very quiet
