bought this to power my rv and impressed with the power and the ease of use. Straight out of the box did the first time prep work to run and this started on the 4th pull, plugged in some electric heaters to create a current draw, handled all of this beautifully, went inside and couldn't even hear this generator running. love the electric start and remote start

I received it very quickly. When I took it out of the box I discovered that the right side plastic cover was cracked and a piece was missing which I found on the bottom of the box. I immediately called customer service even before putting gas and oil into it. After having to wait a couple of days for CS to get back to me, they quickly handled my problem and shipped out a replacement side cover. It was quite simple to remove and replace. I finally got the unit fired up and connected it to my 50amp Montana 5th Wheel Trailer. It ran everything that I wanted it to run. Of course, it won't run both AC units at the same time but I didn't expect it to. It runs an electric heater, microwave, TV, and lights without any problem. This will be ideal for quick stays as we travel across the country as this is what I wanted it for. My new Westinghouse IGen 4500 is so quiet we can have a normal conversation even while standing next to it. it is wonderful and awesome !!!

So far, after set up and a 30 min initial run, it’s great. Remote start works well and it VERY quiet. A couple of things I noticed: the unit serial number is not available on the inverter anywhere. I had to cut one of the UPC stickers off the box to put with my records. 2nd: Familiarizing myself with the control panel and actually reading the manual, I notice the graphic depiction of the control panel and pictures were different from the iGen4500 I received. I’m curious as to why the unit I received is different from what is shown & advertised.

Just purchased the Westinghouse iGen4500. Packaging was very good. Set up of the Generator was very simple. Oil is in pre-measured .6 Quart Bottle and came with the pour nozzle and a Tool Kit with a small length #2 Phillips screwdriver and Spark Plug removal tool with a handle. Battery is pre-wired and just needs the Battery plugged into a mated connector and the hold down rubber strap installed. Generator Started right up with it's remote and and the Digital Display shows how much runtime remains on the current fuel level, Voltage output, hours and Fuel quantity in Liters. Has a duplex Receptacle, a 30A 120V Receptacle as well as a pair of USB outlets. Also includes a 120V AC Battery Charger with a port on the front to plug into to charge the generator battery in the event it had gone low. Has Fuel shut-off dial, Battery Power Switch and Start push button as well. Generator can be pull started in the event the Battery is low. ( haven't tried the pull start since its working great without. The remote Start FOB is single press and is attached via carabiner to the Pull Start Rope during the unboxing of the unit. Great Generator for "Clean Power".

I bought this Item September 30, 2018 and was getting ready to go camping for the first time since we bought the generator(4/4/2019).We put oil in it and and gas connected the battery and pushed the start button. The generator started although it was leaking fuel faster then using it.When I buy names like Westinghouse I don't think its to much to ask for the product to work. My next step will be to contact Westinghouse.We really like the features of this product.

purchased this unit back in April of this year and its been a headache to keep unit on. i tried using it for the second time this past weekend and its still doing the same thing. I Filed a claim and sent video. I hope they can correct issues or replace unit. I will update review at later time.

I bought this generator based on the quiet exhaust system. The remote start feature will work out nice when I am inside of my camper and don’t have to go out in the cold or rain to get it running. This generator came highly recommend by my brother and four of his camping buddies who just returned from a trip out west were they boon-docked multiple times. I can’t wait to try it out for myself. Thanks for a great product.

When I unboxed and setup the Gen it wouldn't start. I researched and found that it was a common problem with this Gen. One of the cables was NOT plugged in. Westinghouse needs to do better QUALITY CONTROL. They have an Excellent Product but the People Assembling it are lacking.

I just recently purchased the iGen4500 to use with my RV when boon docking. It has the power to run everything in my camper with no issues. Very pleased with the performance and so pleasantly surprised with how quiet it is. When I am inside the RV I can barely hear it. If the A/C is on, I can’t hear the generator at all.

My igen4500 arrived yesterday and the item was well packaged. The box had no damage like some other people have had. Filled it with oil and gas and it fired right up. Be careful when adding the last little bit of oil or it will overflow. Followed the break in procedure and ran my camper on it overnight. It has 18 hours on it with 0 issues.
