After alot of research we bought the westinghouse iGen 4500. The box was damaged but the contents were still well protected with no damage. Followed the directions for fluid filing and battery connection and it stated right up. Did the 5 hour break in and then tried it on or camper. Quietly runs our 15000. Btu ac and all electronics. Very happy with this purchase.

Purchased a iGen4500 recently after reading many reviews. It was the best price for the features that I need. Runs very quiet and efficient and runs my fifth wheel camper without any hesitation. Just in time for hurricane season too. Now we can camp wherever we want in comfort.

Generator is heavy duty. Appears to be solid and well built. I purchase this unit to power my travel trailer. It comes RV ready with a 30 Amp plug as well as additional standard outlets and USB outlets. I like the push button start feature and fuel shut off switch so you can use the fuel from the carb before storing.

Bought this generator for tailgating and camping. Love the addition of the 30 AMP plug so we can connect directly to our camper. Used the generator for tailgating last weekend and was able to power a TV, several phones, and other appliances for 10 hours with plenty of juice remaining. I wish the oil dipstick was easier to access - be careful not to overfill.

Bought this gen. to replace my old one that I couldn't get parts for.This one has 1000 more watts and weighs about the same. took it out of the box put gas & oil in and it started right up. Would have given it 5 stars put the oil drain is a pain in the(donkey) to get at

This unit is a warranty replacement for one I bought in July 2021. Out of the box, the autochoke did not work. fortunately I found a video on YT that showed me how to fix it in about 10 minutes. Unit ran well and met my power needs for my 5th wheel trailer. Unfortunately, the inverter failed after about 125 hours. Warranty service is a hassle. WH's tech support line is not supportive. Finally took my unit to an Authorized Service Center and it took them several weeks to get a replacement authorized. After that WH shipped the replacement in a few days. Unfortunately the autochoke doesn't work on the replacement and the YT video doesn't seem to apply. Back to the tech support grind!

Seems like a solid, well-designed product with excellent data displays to keep you aware of operating characteristics. Good instructions. Well packed. But as I was setting it up, it felt a bit flimsy. For example, bolts were missing in a couple of crucial places, and the plastic housing seemed flimsy. Didn't want to complete the setup until the missing bolts were replaced.

I’m very pleased with the product. It didn’t take long to set up and I had it running in no time. The remote start and push button feature are very convenient and allow accessibility from inside the trailer. Overall, I am more than pleased with the product and would recommend it to anyone trying to find a great generator for your trailer.

Bought this for the 2019 camping season. after researching generators to run 30 amp camper load, the iGen 4500 seamed to be the perfect fit. I absolutely was not disappointed. Easy starts, quiet operation and great price was a win-win-win. I have had no issues to date and highly recommend this generator!

I purchased the Westinghouse iGen4500 about three weeks ago and finally got around to setting it up. It's a fairly straight forward process that includes adding oil m, connecting the battery cable quick connect, and adding gas (I choose no ethanol for small engines and have found them to run better). The key fab is a nice option for remote starts, and it also has a push button start, and pull cord back up. It fired up on the first try after I remembered to adjust the fuel switch to the open position. It was so impressed with how quiet it ran, and I was able to carry on a conversation with my wife while standing about five feet away from the unit. I'm expecting the iGen4500 to be my first and last electric generator since it has so many nice features, and I the build quality is impressive.
