The pull cords on previous generators were too stiff for my wife to start. If I wasn't home and the power went out, it couldn't be used. Now with the electric start, I don't have to worry. Also, love the drip tray around the gas fill spout. Can't seem to dump in gas without spilling a little bit and this really helps with the clean-up.

I bought thi a couple of weeks ago for emergency power outages and dry camping. It arrived quickly and was packaged. Followed the startup procedure and cranked right up with no trouble at all. Although I haven’t used it much it is much quieter than every other generator I have ever used!

Got the IGEN4500 yesterday. I have not started it yet. Everything else seems to be ok. Battery was not where it was supposed to be had to move it in potion. Side panel had a little damage one of the screws broken off on the backside of the side panel. I glued it back on and it held. Cant wait to see how it operates with our camper.

The iGEN4500 came in after 4 days and opened it yestrday. Very well made and after following the instructions, it powered immediately. Easy to operate and after 4 hours turned is off. I am satisfied with it. I should have rated it 5 STARS but due to its weight, I only rated it 4 STARS. I will buy another one that I can just carry in and out of my Pick Up truck.

I read all the reviews and decided to pull the trigger, picked it up today and it's a balmy 31 out. Added oil & fuel, hooked up the battery and hit the go button! And it fired right up! Sounds great and ran a test tool just fine. Pretty happy at the moment, hopefully it holds up well over the long term.

Great so far, no complaints. Very good on "fuel mileage", pretty darn quiet. I can power my RV and then some. I would recommend to anyone wanting to spend a few extra bucks knowing you get the long run time per tank, more than plenty of power, nice and quiet, and knowing you don't have to worry about hurting your delicate electronics.

I use this generator for my RV. I found the remote start / stop extremely convenient. The generator was apparently designed with RV use in mind. It works well in that use. I have had trouble with two of these starting automatically. The problem seems to be in the firmware that controls the automatic choke. Westinghouse has not made it possible to update the firmware even though there are USB ports available for doing this. The customer service people at Westinghouse have been very helpful in dealing with this problem.

Pros: very pleasing color, compact and quiet. not too heavy. loved the wheels with retractable handle. and the front panel. Cons: no oil gauge. this could prevent spills. at least the initial oil provided should not have caused a spill. An index in the user manual would be nice as well.

I was on the fence about buying the iGen4500 after reading the reviews. So glad I went ahead with my purchase! This thing runs and sounds so smooth, its exactly what I wanted and would recommend it to anyone thinking about buying a high power but really quiet power source. Ps starts first try every time. I bought this a few days ago and really like it's small size and the fact it has wheels and a handle to move it around. It is really quiet when running and has all the controls on the front panel. I like that it has an hour meter built in which will help with routine maintenance. The electric start is really nice and easy to use; just turn the switch on and press the start button for 1 second and it does the rest.
