I just bought this gen now my wife can start it with outgoing outside when we take off early to go hunting or fishing, she stays around camp and relaxes A bit heavier than my other one if we fill it at home but with a 3gal tank never half to worry about it running out of fuel

great value inverter generator! The iGen5000 will power my entire 30amp travel trailer. the 3+ gallon fuel tank will run easily through the night if needed. the remote is a wonderful option. To be able to turn the generator on and off from the remote adds a level of comfort and convenience. you can watch tv before falling asleep at night and just hit the button on the remote is much easier than getting up and going outside to turn it off. need power for 2 min to microwave lunch no need to go outside twice just hit the on button, microwave, and hit the off button!

As expected, this iGen4500 is a powerhouse! Great output. Easy to operate. If you're having trouble starting it (turns over, but won't start), open the side panel and flip the choke, then try it. Don't forget to turn the choke back off after it starts.

This is a great generator and I can’t believe how quiet it is. I don’t understand why the Quick Start guide and the owners manual make no mention of the battery connection required prior to the first start. I was afraid I had a defective unit or defective automatic choke but figured out that the battery was not connected for shipping, but it wasn’t obvious when looking at the connections. It has plugs that have to be pushed together but both ends were tucked behind the housing and battery. I removed the battery and discovered the plugs. Again, neither manual makes any mention of it. Once I figured that out it started immediately with the start button, the remote and the recoil. I really hope this ends up being a reliable generator since it has such great features and power for its size.

I have 8 hours running time on it so far and I love it! The igen4500 is relatively quiet for it's size. I love the fact that it has 3 different ways to start it and especially love the remote start. I look forward to our next camping trip to use it. As like everything else this unit does have some bad reviews but give Westinghouse a chance to make your problems right. The good reviews far out weigh the bad.

This generator is great. I 1st used it after aftereffects from hurricane Debby knocked out my power. It was easy to set up and easy to use straight out the box. I love the handle which makes it easy to use. I operated a large deep freezer, a fan and my internet modem for several days.

I purchased the iGen4500 to power my 5th Wheel when power is not available at a National or State Park. It is exactly what I was looking for as it: is quiet; RV ready with the 30 Amp outlet; features an LED display with remaining fuel, load/output, volts and remaining runtime,

Just ordered yesterday 08/29/2019 with a pending storm here in Florida, received today, Friday 08/30/2019 great service - generator arrived in good shape - hooked up the battery, filled oil and some gas and it started right up - remote start is a great feature and will be great for our camper - we are in love so far....... In searching for a dual fuel generator I came across this Westinghouse, I GEN 5000 DFC and after reading the reviews I realize it with it was a perfect for someone my age. Electric start, small, dual fuel propane, especially is great for someone like me.

The idea of being able to start this generator three different ways is absolutely the best idea I can imagine. Not only does it provide more then sufficient power for my needs during a power outage but maneuverability is of the utmost ease. The fact that it is capable of running for up to eighteen hours on one tank full is also a major plus for for me. I haven't used the included battery charger yet but it is a welcome idea that may come in hand in future use, All in all I rate this IGEN4500 generator eleven out of ten.
