Deliver was very quick and easy to connect battery, fill with oil. Took the generator on a weekend camping trip and ran for 22 hours with no issues. Electric start is great and remote start FOB is a plus! Ran everything on the 30 amp service for the weekend and only burned approximately 2 gallons of fuel. Very happy with this purchase and recommend for RV campers!

Just rec'd today....followed the ez setup, filled with oil, fuel, and connected battery that was fully charged. followed the startup procedure and....as advertised, fired right up, quiet, etc. I am breaking it in with eco on and off with no load. This is replacing a previous smaller output rv ready gen.

Arrived in very well packaged box with plenty of protection. Followed the instructions to set it up, and had it running in 15 minutes out of the box. Very quiet generator, and is a quality sturdy generator. I load tested it on my RV and it powered everything easily (AC, lights, TV, microwave, etc). Welcome addition to my RV, expecially with the remote start.

My iGen4500 was delivered today, I put fuel and oil in it, turned the fuel switch on and waited for a minute for the fuel to drain into the carburetor bowl, turned the battery switch on and pressed start. It started the first try even not having fuel in it during shipping. Very satisfied so far!

Just arrived today. Straight forward start up instructions with adding oil and gasoline. Some confusion on the sticker about the on/off switch. Would not start manually or initially with electric start. Discovered it worked fine when the engine panel removed. Tried 3 times reattaching the panel cover with same results. Will talk to technical support when they are available.

Just got this set up and running. Remote start worked on first click of the one switch. Has all the features I was looking for in an inverter style generator that I can take with me in my RV or use at home. Only 4 stars because the start up instructions tell you to empty the whole bottle of supplied engine oil into the reservoir, but it is just too much, and pours out a bit and made a mess. Otherwise, very happy with the purchase.

I needed a generator that was reliable and easy to start. I am on oxygen and need to keep the machine going even in a power outage, and also to power the refrigerator and freezer for a long outage. this one seems to meet the requirements that we have.

Bought the iGen4500 after looking at the reviews and comparing it to other inverter generators. It seems to work as advertised so far, although I'm still in the break-in period. I like the overall features and its portability, although it is rather (very) heavy if you have to pick it up, like to put it in the back of a van, truck, etc. While I wouldn't consider it quiet, it is a lot less noisy than other generators that I've heard. I've only tried it at about 40% load, but it seems to auto-throttle smoothly. I haven't tried the USB ports yet, but I suspect they'll work just fine. All the other features seems to operate as expected.

I recently used my new "Digital Inverter Generator iGen5000DFcv" during Hurricane Beryl, and it worked very well. It is quiet, easy to operate, easy to transport, and start. It has enough capacity for my family’s needs during those unexpected moments caused by nature. Excellent product. I recommend it.

Received new generator with noticeable rust at fuel tank neck. Immediately contacted Westinghouse who ensured me this is normal. Ran generator to make sure every thing worked (using sta-bil added fuel). Tested generator 2 month later to make sure every thing worked fine before storm season but generator would not maintain power and kept turning off. Checked online and found service bulletin with instruction on manual fix by opening the cover and manually adjusting choke. So assumed this was known issue and dropped off at local service center. I am told the carburetor was gummed/dirty and this would not be covered under warranty. Called up Westinghouse and service rep politely read instructions: for "2 month storage the float bowl has to be emptied of fuel". Not having emptied the fuel from the float bowl broke the generator in 2 month. Hard to believe that if I had turned on the generator few days earlier, the generator would had work. The fact that there is a service bulletin that was created to temporary fix this exact problem actually exists suggests there is a model wide quality issue. Also Westinghouse claiming rusted fuel tank is normal also suggests this model is cheaply made. Can not recommend for first time generator users. I suspect the rust and carburetor issues are tied. Also, this generator requires lots of maintenance that must be followed accurately. Being 1 day late will break unit.
