Recently purchased this generator and have used it for camping. It has powered everything in my RV with ease. Wife loves the remote start and how quiet it is. I was constantly asked by my camping neighbors about my generator and after giving them a little demonstration they were all super impressed with everything it can do compared to the generators they were using.

So far so good generator is quiet has excellent features and was easy to set up . Generator started immediately and idles nice slight hunting at first but I am sure it will smoothe out after break in . Running ethanol free 93 as I do in all my power equipment , nice unit westinghouse thanks

After weeks of research, I purchased the igen4500. I had read about various issues associated with the choke and upside down 30amp plug. Both of these issues appear to have been resolved in the manufacturing process as neither materialized on my unit. Added oil and fuel, started up straight away. 2 days later I ran it for 24 hrs in 40 degree, humid conditions without issue. Fully satisfied.

This is a very quiet yet adequately powerful generator. I use it to power my home appliances, dehumidifier, small a/c unit and electronics during power outages. This generator is great for camping as well due to its low noise level, and it is fully capable of powering everything in my 24 ft. RV with a 15,000 BTU A/C unit. A great all-around generator, not too large and not too small. A great product.

So far it has met my expatiation. My old generator was very noisy. The only problem was finding the serial number. It was on a bar code at the lower back of the unit. No model number or other info that the product registration card says it would have. This should make my neighbors at the NASCAR races a lot happier. We have to run it at night for medical reasons.

I compared a lot of generators before deciding on the iGen4500. It arrived well-packed in a styrofoam cradle inside a sturdy box. The initial setup was simple, and it started on the first push of the button. I have tried it with various loads, and it easily powers my travel trailer’s air-conditioner and microwave, even while simultaneously recharging the trailer battery. It truly is one of the quietest generators I have ever encountered, especially considering the power it packs.

Purchased about 2 mos ago for camping, it was the quietest generator in camp ground & has all the features I need . The only problem I had was to remove right cover to connect carburetor automatic choke wire as mentioned in most reviews( definitely a production problem ). It starts up and runs great so far. This generator will work fine to run my house for what I need.

This unit is so quiet. It runs well.I am very glad I got this. Easy to pull start until the pull cord gets caught, then challenging. Need replacement kit. The battery start doesn't work often. It is a minor issue for me, but would be nice for the remote start to work.

Works great! We are so pleased. We went to a family camping reunion. We go every year to OR and we are always roasting due to the extreme heat! Whew! Well, this July we did our due diligence and went over the reviews and watched YouTube videos re this product. The reviews were overwhelming positive so we went for it. We actually wanted the dual fuel! but couldn’t find one anywhere! We knew that that would have benefited our purpose much better. But the quiet?? Amazing. We were the envy of all the other campers! Ha.

Just received my Westinghouse iGen4500. Fired up on first start with the remote start. Super guiet compared to other generators I've owned. The telescoping pull handle makes it really easy to move around. I would definitely recommend this generator to anyone!
