Best gas generator

From the very first day that I used this generator never had a single problem with it. Always start immediately after pressing the on button. I measly use this generator on our camping trip. So far working great. We'll do update after 1 year of using this generator

Very quiet igen4500

I have been using Champion generators with my RV and I thought it was a quiet generator. I was quite surprised when I first got this thing and turned it on and I thought it was in the economy mode and expected the RPMs to go up when I turned on the air conditioner and there was no change because it was running in the full on position. This generator on Full Speed sounds like my old champion on idle.

quailty built generator.

very pleased with my iGen4500 purchase. easy to add the oil and start right out of the box. I read a lot of reviews which stated this model has automatic choke issues, well either I got lucky or they fixed the problem because mine works fine. haven't owned it for long so my review is limited to just a few tests but very happy with it so far. looking forward to camping season.

Westinghouse iGen4500

Just purchased the Westinghouse iGen4500. Packaging was very good. Set up of the Generator was very simple. Oil is in pre-measured .6 Quart Bottle and came with the pour nozzle and a Tool Kit with a small length #2 Phillips screwdriver and Spark Plug removal tool with a handle. Battery is pre-wired and just needs the Battery plugged into a mated connector and the hold down rubber strap installed. Generator Started right up with it's remote and and the Digital Display shows how much runtime remains on the current fuel level, Voltage output, hours and Fuel quantity in Liters. Has a duplex Receptacle, a 30A 120V Receptacle as well as a pair of USB outlets. Also includes a 120V AC Battery Charger with a port on the front to plug into to charge the generator battery in the event it had gone low. Has Fuel shut-off dial, Battery Power Switch and Start push button as well. Generator can be pull started in the event the Battery is low. ( haven't tried the pull start since its working great without. The remote Start FOB is single press and is attached via carabiner to the Pull Start Rope during the unboxing of the unit. Great Generator for "Clean Power".

Packed With Features

Picked up this generator for my travel trailer. Plenty of power with room to spare for my trailer. Love the remote start, no more getting out of the trailer to start up the generator. Nice and quiet too, even with a load on it. But at idle, very very quiet, and even more so with the eco mode turned on. All and all I'm very happy with this unit.

Remote Start

I have been pondering buying a new generator for a year now and so glad I finally did. Opened the package and filled with gas and oil and this generator started on the 5th pull. The remote start feature is the best thing. So far no hiccups with about 2hrs on it. Will review in a month or two with more.

Generating Power

I bought this to run my travel trailer while camping. I also bought this generator to run the house when we have a power outage. I filled it up with oil, and it started right up. I plan on running it for a few hours with a light amp load to help break the engine in.

exactly as described and what I was hoping for

Comes basically ready to go, connect battery(2 slip together wires) fill with shipped oil and start up. Already sitting on my cargo rack on the rear bumper of my travel trailer, enough juice to power everything and i mean everything. Just a hair over 100 lbs my wife and I can set it on cargo shelf no problem. Also kinda nice to have a bit larger one to have around the house just in case, you never know. Thanks

Add oil and fuel - Started first try

After weeks of research, I purchased the igen4500. I had read about various issues associated with the choke and upside down 30amp plug. Both of these issues appear to have been resolved in the manufacturing process as neither materialized on my unit. Added oil and fuel, started up straight away. 2 days later I ran it for 24 hrs in 40 degree, humid conditions without issue. Fully satisfied.

Great generator but had some issues out of the box

After searching for a decently priced generator, I'd decided on the IGen 4500. It was delivered a day earlier than originally said. After unboxing it, I followed start up procedure. Oil, fuel and battery checked and tries to start it with no response. It would crank over but not start. Checked fuel to the carb and it was there. Figured out where the choke was and figured out that it wasn't workin. Hand choked it and fired right up. Done a little research and found that the automatic choke wire was a problem area with these generators. To side panel off and sure enough the automatic choke wire wasn't plugged up. Plugged it in, reassembled the side panel, hit the start switch and Baam I have an awesome generator.
