I bought the igen4500 a week ago, removed from box read instructions that are easy to read and understand. Pluged the battery wires in, filled with oil, pulled on pull rope a few times to get oil to the pistions. Turned gas on and on switch, pushed start button, started right up, very quite. Will let the gen run a little before putting load on the gen. A lot of information gauges on front and enough plugs for what ever you might need.

I purchased this product to use for my trailor while dry camping. I used to own a different generator but it was so loud I had to return it. This westinghouse generator is so quiet I can carrry on a conversation while standing next to it while running. So pleased about that. Upon following the instructions it started right up and it provides all the power I need for my 28 foot trailer. In addition it will be a great backup at my cabin as we periodically loose power from snow storms. So excited about my new generator, specially at the price point!

Having done lots of on-line searching and comparing, iGen4500 came out on top of my list for brand and model. It appears to be of sturdy build, works (almost) as advertised, and has some great extra features. Sadly, they have still not fixed the choke issue, nor the illuminated power-on switch. And just to nit-pick, they should have spared a couple more inches to the battery connect wire. Old, arthritic fingers can barely get into the limited space. And the hold-down for the battery strap clip isn't notched enough (molded plastic flaw), the clip doesn't stay firm. Again, not really complaining, just mentioning. On the cool side; The Amazon ad didn't even showcase the retractable pull bar! Completely out of the way until needed, pulls out like a suitcase on wheels. The oil service funnel screws into the oil fill port preventing spillage. There's enough space in the battery area to store the funnel, rag, spark plug wrench, etc, and an extra bottle of oil. Gotta love the control panel. Digital read-out gives more info than others, and all info is useful. (Voltage, Load %, Watts, Fuel level, Remaining run time, and Total hours. Now we'll see how well it holds up. Again, I'm very happy with it so far. I'm looking forward to Westinghouse's fix or at least workarounds for the choke and ignition light.

Purchased to accompany us on our RV trips and it is PERFECT. Easy to get set-up and even easier to use. We are novice and this is our first generator so we were worried about it being complicated but it is VERY EASY! Dual fuel is a wonderful feature but our favorite is the REMOTE START!

This is a very early review, since I just received my 1Gen4500 yesterday. I made the purchase because of the low noise level, long run time, and data center for tracking run time, power output, remaining fuel, etc. I unpacked the box, connected the battery, filled with oil and gas, pushed the start button and it fired right up. Very easy, smooth and quiet just as advertised. I will give more information as things progress. Very happy so far, and feeling much more secure amid power outages.

So far after getting it ready to start the pool starts fine. Took two poles electric start/remote start doesn’t start hoping it’s just a low battery so I’m charging the battery overnight then we’ll see from there supposed to be an outrageous product. Did a lot of research hoping I don’t have any problems.

Quicker than advertised shipping. Would not start out of the box until I connected the automatic choke wire that everyone mentions comes loose during shipping. 10 minutes of pulling panels, connecting the loose connection and putting panels back on and it ran really well. Very impressed with initial quality. More power for considerably less money than a Honda.

Buying a 5th wheel RV and needed a generator for it. The features of this make it a perfect fit. Enough power to handle my needs on the road or boondocking. Low sound level. Plug-in configuration. Display to monitor output. Remote on/off. Long run time between fills.

Bought this for camping hoping to find a generator that wont keep the whole block awake and not pay Honda money. It is even quieter than I expected. The pull handle and wheels make it very handy to move. I would like larger wheels for loose gravel but that is nothing compared to what you get for your money is this package. Would buy again without hesitation.

We bought this to replace one we didn’t even have two months from another brand that started falling apart. Let me tell you, it was almost half the price. Wayyyyy quieter and doesn’t get super hot. I’m very pleased with this generator and don’t think I’ll consider another brand again!!
