Operating this generator requires choke adjusting. Unfortunately, the choke is behind the side panel which requires removing five bolts. Phillips head bolts that will ware over time. So, poor design in this regards. The choke should be assessable without removing the side panel. Also, the remote on/off FOB is simpley a marketing bell with no whistle. When the generator is remotely shut down. You will still need to go to the generator and manually shut off the battery so you don’t waste battery power. And, you will need to close the gasoline valve so the engine does not flood. Other than those design flaws, the generator works well, as hoped, for the moment. Stay tuned.

I bought this unit because my father got one and has had it with zero issues and it runs his 30ft rv with no problems at all and quiet enough that you can't even hear it in the trailer at night. They have changed the the face of the unit though and added a power switch that lights up for the battery, I'm guessing for saftey reasons so you don't accidentally start it with the remote. To me that honestly makes the whole electric and remote start kind of useless so I wish I found one of their older units before they added the switch. I guess you could leave it on but if you forget it on for two long that light will eventually fully drain the battery.

Bought this generator to replace one that had become unreliable (different brand) We use it to power our BBQ trailer. I came as described and after going through the check list and putting the oil and fuel in it, it fire right off after just 3 pulls. Put it on the supplied charger and tried the remote start the next day. Started right up and very quiet even when not in eco mode. Almost as quiet as my Honda 7000 that I use for my travel trailer. I recently purchased the IGen5000Fcv inverter generator. This generator kept our critical systems going during a two day power outage due to Tropical storm Debby here in south Georgia. The generator ran flawlessly. I like the option of dual fuel and the inverter is a really nice addition. Very happy with this purchase and am confident it will last a long time.

Arrived in excellent condition, very easy to set-up. Fill with oil, hook up the battery (the plug in the line is a nice touch), put in some gas and hit the button. It started on the third try. So far I've only had a lite load but it seems very quiet. I've had Honda's for years, so I know what quiet is, and this unit does not disappoint. Electric start was my #1 need (health issues) and I am impressed with this unit for the price.

Our usage elevations fluctuate from 800 to 8000 feet. This generator handles this well. We love being able to use the fob to start or stop without getting out of the camper and at a distance of 99 feet. The live data display of remaining time run, power output, fuel level, voltage, and lifetime hours is an excellent tool. It can also be used as a back-up to household power shortage.

There is a known problem and I had read about it so I was aware of it with the choke. Sure enough when it arrived and I put the battery and oil in then tried to start it. It would not start!! After I took the sides off and put the wire clip back on it fired right up and runs great!!

My iGen4500 was just delivered last night. Not happy with the Jerk who dumped it on my door step upside down at 7:30 pm and didn't knock. I had some concerns about it being damaged and wondered if it would start after being upside down. This morning, I filled it with oil and gas and one light touch of the starter button and it fired right up. Quite compared to other generators I've had. I plugged in my surge protector for my RV and got a green light. I'm looking forward to using this with our new camping trailer. A little heavier that I anticipated.

It was easy to setup and get started. Not nearly as quiet as expected, has a massive amount of vibration. We ran it in the driveway for awhile my husband said it doesn't sound like it is idling down properly. We don't have any camping trips planned till August this was bought for our new 34 ft travel trailer. We plan to do some remote camping with it just hope it runs our a/c and isn't too noisy. Also really disappointed that we couldn't get the cover for it as a bonus gift for leaving a review website said they were having an issue with supplier and only had the 15 ft power strip available......really would have liked the cover!

Just ordered yesterday 08/29/2019 with a pending storm here in Florida, received today, Friday 08/30/2019 great service - generator arrived in good shape - hooked up the battery, filled oil and some gas and it started right up - remote start is a great feature and will be great for our camper - we are in love so far.......
