I bought this unit in April and just got a chance to open it to see how it worked. I was a little disappointed when it would not start. Customer service was helpful and sent a technical bulletin to show me how to get it running. They have a plug that comes undone during shipping. After watching youtube videos I found this is a common problem. I would recommend they put a lockable plug instead of one that will come off during shipping. I was able to fix it but when it is brand new I should not have to take it apart to get it running. other than that so far it seems to work well with the problem fixed.

just received my inverter. everything complete and no damage. added oil and gas and test ran. took just a minute to get fuel to carb and fired right up. ran for a little bit and then plugged in some power tools. ran everything very well. even ran my job site compressor. my honda 3000 will not run this compressor. will take camping next weekend for the real test but am very pleased with the unit so far

Bought this to have a backup power source for Freezers and electronics when the power goes down. Have not had a chance to test it yet, but did fire it up, that was easy and it was pretty quiet. I like the Luggage type pull handle to move it , makes it easier on us weaklings.

I am getting ready to head off into the sunset with my 5th wheel as part of my retirement. I did a lot of research on inverter generators for my 5th wheel and this product fit the bill in terms of the features (e.g., quiet, power to run AC, remote start, reputation, etc.) and cost. Some of the other competitors I evaluated like Cummins, Champion and Honda were comparable, but not in terms of cost and power provided.

I bought this generator a little over a month ago and it has been a great purchase. Used it extensively while dry camping in Virginia for a week over the July 4th Holiday. Ran my trailer and air conditioner all week and never had an issue. Also used it during a short power outage at my home and powered everything I needed.

I just purchased the iGen4500 model and I’m very pleased with it this far. It is surprisingly quiet for a 3700 Watt generator. My only gripe so far is that I’ll need the high altitude kit which I didn’t know I’d need. Would’ve been nice to know that ahead of time but otherwise very solid generator.

This is our second iGen4500. We sold the first one with our camper and immediately bought another for our next camper. It is quiet. Love the remote start. The new model has some great features. Tells you how much time you have before you run out of gas. Can't wait to try it out! Priced right too.

I bought this generator on the 19th of November 2019. Opened the box up, followed the instructions for setup. Hit the start button and boom it fired right up and has been working great. We bought this to power our 31ft travel trailer, it has the Dometic 13.5k BTU A/C unit on it and this generator runs it no issues, we were watching movies, had all the lights on and microwaved food all while running the A/C set to 70 degrees and this generator never missed a beat. We live in TX and A/C is a must have at all times of the year for the most part. The remote start is an awesome feature and just so you know, you can leave the battery power switch on even if the gen isn't running for at least 8hrs and the light will not drain the battery, we tested it. I'm very impressed with this unit and hope to have it for many years.

I bought this anticipated loosing power during hurricane Ida. There were many generators to select but I liked the compact size , quite and run time on a tank of fuel. Electric start, even remote start. Plenty output for my needs. Totally satisfied.

IGen4500 - Unpacked unit, everything looked great! Very well packed. Filled with oil and fresh gasoline. Before I could even try to start unit, I could smell a strong gas order. After further inspection I noticed gas dripping from bottom of unit. I had to remove covers in order to fine leak, where I found the short 90 degree gas hose between gas tank and line filter steadily dripping. Removed gas line and plugged tank outlet so the 3 gallons of fuel wouldn’t completely run out all over my concrete driveway. What a mess! I’ll try to follow-up on this review after I replace hose and get it running. Hopefully I can change my rating to a 5.
