I bought the iGen5000c generator for our camper. The reason I purchased the Westinghouse because of a review from a friend. The generator handles the air conditioner and the other needs with no problem. It is a very dependable and quiet. I highly recommend it.

I bought this generator about a month ago. I received it 4 days before the expected delivery date in perfect condition. Added the oil and fuel per instructions and fired off the unit. It purred like a kitten, was very quite (in fact, you can have a normal conversation standing right by the unit). It performs better than I anticipated. Bought the unit to power the travel trailer and as a backup in case we lose power. At this point, we could not be happier with the unit.

Contrary to some beliefs there is nothing wrong with this generator. Received it 26 June 2021 added oil and gas on the 27th it started right up and purred like a kitten very quiet even when not on Econ mode. Nothing wrong with the electric choke like others have said. Only thing that ticked me off was the side panel on the side where you check the oil received a crack on shipping. Westinghouse shipped me a new one the very next day after i reported it to them. The only issue will be removing the handle bolt holding the side cover on it is extremely tight used an impact and it still will not come loose i told Westinghouse someone tightened it too tight at the factory.This generator is unbelievable quiet have to hear to believe. I tested it with an electric drill on Econ mode no problem also a 500 watt work light the engine did not even speed up and the percentage meter did not even move. It should pull a 15,000 BTU RV air conditioner no problem.

I bought this inverter/generator this week in the event that our power goes out during a storm or for any other reason. It was so easy to set up and crank. It runs super smooth and is very quiet. When you use the ECO feature it is even quieter. This generator is perfect for my temporary needs when we lose our power.

ADDED OIL AND GAS STARTED RIGHT UP. RAN 1500 WATT ELECTRIC HEATER, DID NO REV UP ABOVE IDLE. HAVE A HONDA EU2000. RUNS AT FULL SPEED WITH THIS HEATER. IS VERY QUIET, WAS HAPPY. WILL SEE HOW IT WORKS THE A/C ON CAMPER IN SPRING. SEEMS THAT IT WILL HAVE PLENTY OF JUICE FOR MY R/V

Bought this for our RV and it works great! I did some research before I bought this and I was really nervous about the whole choke wire issue but this one fired right up. Either they fixed the problem or I'm just a lucky one.. idk. The setup directions were easy to follow. The only minor complaint is the lack of a simple visible data plate, but don't let that be a deterrent from a purchase.

Bought the iGen 4500 to use with our RV perfect size to run everything I need on the Rv while traveling and boondocking. Arrived by ups in good condition and was easy to add the oil, connecting the battery wiring was easy just plug wires together. After adding oil and before adding fuel used the cord to rotate the engine over several times to ensure engine had good lubrication throughout before starting. Added gasoline and started using electric start button, started right up. Ran for a few minutes shut off and started with FOB and again started right up. Plugged into RV and turned on microwave and had 25% power loading turned on air conditioner and no issues all works as expected. The FOB remote start is great, my wife can start and stop as she needs from inside RV. Quiet enough. No issues to complain about here so far great addition to our RVing.

Just got it a couple days ago, so haven't got to use it. We got everything hooked up and fired it up. Hooked it up to camper and turned ac on and it did what it was suppose to do. So much quieter than my previous generators. Going camping next week with it.

Got this for our camper and so glad we did! It was so easy to set it up and start it. When received wasn't sure how me and my husband were gonna move it around but was surprised to see it had wheels and a handle to pull like luggage. So convenient and not very loud! Great investment!

PURCHASED THIS LAST YEAR, HOWEVER, DUE TO LOCKDOWNS CAMPING WAS PUT OFF UNTIL THIS YEAR. OPENED THE BOX THIS YEAR FILLED WITH OIL AND GAS... FIRST PULL AND IT STARTED. AFTER LETTING IT RUN FOR AN HOUR WITH NO LOAD, I POWERED IT UP AGAIN AND PLUGGED IN OUR 30/50 AMP CAMPER/TRAILER. NOW FOR THE TEST. I TURNED ON THE MAIN AIR CONDITIONER AND YOU COULD HEAR THE GENERATOR NOW UNDER A LOAD. THEN TURNED ON THE REFRIGERATOR.THE GENERATOR POWERED BOTH ESSENTIALS WITH NO PROBLEM. ACCORDING TO THE GAUGE ON THE IGEN4500 IT WAS SHOWING 25% USAGE. THE NEXT TEST WAS HAVING THE WIFE COME OUT AND CHECK THE NOISE LEVEL. WITH THE GENERATOR ONLY 4 FEET FROM THE CAMPER AND THE BEDROOM LOCATION BEING RIGHT THERE THE NOISE WAS TOTALLY ACCEPTABLE FOR MY WIFE. THE NOISE WAS FINE WHILE IN THE CAMPER LIVING AREA, YOU COULD HEAR IT BUT IT WAS REALLY NOT NOTICABLE WHILE HAVING A CONVERSATION. IF THE GENERATOR WAS PLACED TOWARD THE REAR THE NOISE LEVEL, I'M SURE, WOULD BE EVEN LOWER. AFTER RUNNING THE IGEN4500 FOR OVER AN HOUR THE TRAILER WAS VERY COMFORTABLE AND THE REFRIGERATOR WAS WORKING FINE AND CHILLED. REALLY THE ONLY OTHER ITEM{S} THAT MIGHT BE USED WOULD BE SMALL ELECTRONICS. ACCORDING TO THE FRONT OF THE IGEN4500 THERE WAS MORE POWER AVAILABLE. AFTER ALOT OF RESEACH PRIOR TO MY PURCHSE, I AM SO PLEASED WITH THE IGEN4500. I WILL UPDATE MY REVIEW AFTER OUR SUMMER TRIPS AND WE PUT IT THROUGH THE ACTUAL CAMPING EXPERIENCE.
