Well made. I suppose one person could put this together, but holding the two sides and trying to slide the end into position was more than I could handle by myself. The instructions were adequate, but could be better. I thought this item was a little pricy, but I am pleased with my purchase.

When the DIY finally gets put together you have a super storage box. Unfortunately, the putting it together leaves me unsettled. I usually can figure out how to assemble most items but this one was horrendous. I even went to the internet demo and still could not figure our how to get the two long sides into the holes and "slide them" into a locked position. After several tries I resorted to a rubber mallet and had to bang the ends in order to get them to move. In the demo the technician must have had some type of "grease" to make it look that easy. Once I got them into place the rest was simply following the printed directions. If you don't mind the initial frustrations, you might get the deck box you want.

The deck box arrived one day earlier than projected and that's great. I put the box together in about an hour. Easy to follow instructions. The box looks great and is exactly as advertised. I really like the hydraulic lid supports. This is a GREAT BUY.

After reading some negative reviews about OTHER large deck boxes that were about $50 less, I decided to spend a bit more for this product. I'm glad I did, as I'm pleased with the quality of this item. The plastic is strong, and durable. The individual parts all seem to be of high quality. I'm a 200 pound man and I can sit on the center of this lid without a worry. Installation: I assembled this by myself and it took about 45 mins, but I admittedly assemble things at a slow, careful pace. I'm glad I ponied up the extra cash for this product as I see it being a permanent fixture of my pool deck.

We got this a month ago to replace our old cushion holder. This one is larger and easily fits 4 thick lawn chair cushions with spare room at the end for pillows. It is much sturdier than our old one and I love how the cover closes easily and completely. It holds up easily when you need it open too.

The storage box, which was a site to store purchase, arrived in a timely manner, in good condition. It assembled easily and I was pleased to see that it was made in the USA. I like to support American industries whenever I can. Even though the box appeared watertight, I sealed the seams with silicone caulk for added protection. I am pleased with this purchase.

Assembly was simple enough. Note when assembling this box, put the cover upside down on a soft surface (carpet or grass) so that it doesn't get all scratched like mine did when I laid it on the patio to attached the metal parts. I know, it's my own fault, but I didn't think I was scraping it around much but it still got very scratched. The sides of the box are more flimsy and flexible than I expected. It seems to have been rain proof, but some water got in when I opened it. It was not quite big enough for all the cushions I wanted to store, but is quite big.

I bought one of these 130 Storage boxes last year...rock solid construction. When I found out it would fit in my Ram Truck and still close the tail gate...well I bought another one. If you need "dry storage" in your truck bed this box will satisfy that need. When I go to my lake house I put all the food stuffs and lots of other things that need to stay dry. I use another one on my pier to store fishing stuff. And my wife wanted another for the patio to keep her garden stuff in...and it works as an extra bench. Will probably find a need for another.

Bought the Lifetime Outdoor Storage Deck Box (130 gal) Model#60040 almost 10 years ago and it still sits in our back yard on the water year round in the sun and snow down at the Jersey Shore..still looks new...that said we just bought another one...Lifetime is the best!! Corbin from customer service is a true gentleman...

Took two capable adults 3 hours to assemble. Holes not drllled completely for the screws. Discovered after I unpacked the box that I needed tools I didn't have. Needed socket wrenches in a couple of sizes. Assembly instructions had plenty of drawings but verbiage would have helped with some of the details. It was hard to tell from the drawings.
