Took me just over 25 minutes to assemble at a relaxed rate, there are other languages in the manual, but that's an easy fix since I can't read chinese, don't know why that is such an obstacle for some ppl. Manual was straight forward, took me longer to find my tools than anything else. Will replace my poor quality Keter deck box.

The Lifetime 130 Gal Deck Box is well made, sturdy, easy to assemble (it took my husband by himself 20-30 minutes to assemble), it is huge and looks great! Lifetime has made some changes on how the pistons and hinges attach, I had read some reviews that expressed some concern but when I looked at the reviews pictures, like 2012, 2013 reviews, our deck box assembly and hardware is little different. I do not think Lifetime supplies stainless steel nuts and bolts with this product which they should due to rusting issues, so my husband is going to replace the included nuts and bolts with stainless steel ones. We have gone through deck boxes every year for the past 3 years and I feel this deck box will last us many years to come. It is used for pool toys, and pool items and sits in direct sun on our deck. We are very happy with this deck box. We did a lot of online research before deciding on the deck box to purchase and this product had high ratings. The interior is very large. The unit is sturdy and well built. We can sit on it without any buckling or damage. The lid fits securely and stays open with metal hinges. The contents stay dry - perfect for storing our outdoor cushions. It was easy to assemble. We would highly recommend this deck box.

We purchased this 130 gallon storage box to replace the cedar chest at the end of our bed. It holds all the linens, blankets and pillows that we needed to store. Plus it is used to sit on to put on our shoes. Great storage box, I feel that we will have it a long time.

We have a Lifetime model # 60040 for years! This is our second purchase not to replace but in addition too. It has served us well! The only complaint is the rusting of the hardware! I think a product used outdoors should have weather resistant hardware!

I'm now on hold for 20 minutes for customer service with respect to an assembly problem. And to make it worse, even though the interminable wait is frequently interrupted by a recording indicating "press 1 to leave a message", that feature doesn't work. In any event, the panels must be warped or otherwise defective and they do not fit together. Hope this review elicits a response before I return the item or initiate a chargeback.

As a pool owner with grandkids and a BBQ guy with charcoal, wood pellets and gear, I need outdoor storage. This is reasonably easy to assemble and superior to the Rubbermaid competitor (easier to assemble and easier to fall apart). Squirrels CAN eat through the plastic if you leave bird food inside (I now keep the birdfood in metal pails inside the container). BUT this is a TERRIBLE emergency casket. It is unwieldy with a body in it, there is leakage and if you need to bury it it is too big.. body bags are simpler and you can get them for about 40$ each. ....you never know.

I was searching for a outdoor storage box for our pool deck and looked at different brands of storage units. I read the reviews of different companies and Lifetimes outdoor storage box had the highest rating among consumers. So I ordered one and I was amazed at how well built it was and how simple it was to assemble. I'm very pleased with the purchase. On a side note we have a Lifetime Basket Ball goal I bought 8 years ago that is still in excellent condition. I'm now looking to purchase some additional Lifetime benches for our pool deck. Thanks Lifetime for making a product that's built to last.

Love?!? the LIFETIME storage box so far BUT upon completion of lifetime 130 gallon storage box assembly the lid has a defect, the one hinge on the lid did not fit in slot therefore the screw holes did not line up rendering our storage box useless as the lid cannot be attached. I am hoping LIFETIME will send us a new lid so we can begin using our storage box.

I purchased this box last summer and it is build solid! This thing will last a long time and has even survived blowing off our deck during a crazy storm. Easy to put together, prompt delivery... no complaints. Planning on buying a second one for out in the yard this summer. You can't go wrong with this one.
