It has a 10 year warranty - still so much room for even more outdoor supplies and a lot more room still available. I even have my chaise and my folding tent in it. It does not provide a lock, but, I bought one for $5.00 no problem. It is very sturdy and nice looking. It was no problem to assemble. It can serve as extra seating or even a table. I am already considering getting another one. The best I found after going on line and comparing it to many others including Rubbermaid. I had never heard of this company before but so happy I was able to find it.

So far we are very pleased with this purchase. This is a solid and sturdy deck box. So far we have seen no water inside from rain storms and we are very pleased. It was a little difficult to assemble the sides to the bottom - getting all the small clips engaged correctly while sliding the side into place was not easy. Not sure the hardware attachments will hold up over time, but thus far we are very pleased.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I researched many different deck boxes before purchasing one. The quality of the material, product durability, the size, the ease of putting the box together, being waterproof, weather resistance, and excellent warranty were all major factors for this purchase. Purchasing a product made in the USA should have been a plus. I am very handy and I followed the directions to a T. It took 5 and a half hours and much struggle to put this item together properly. The pieces should all go together easily and the holes should all align properly and easily. This is so much NOT the case!!! A couple of holes aligned correctly but that was it. It was a struggle to get all pieces to fit properly. Through MUCH effort I managed. All except the top!! All that effort to find that the last piece is NOT going to fit!! One side fit and closed properly all of the way...the other side not. In putting this box together I found the pieces not cut to the precise size, angles and shape to insure proper fit and ease of fit. The actual material of the box and parts of the design are great which makes this such a surprise and disappointment. Made in the USA? That is a shame!!

Bottom Line:Yes, I would recommend this to a friend. Like the other reviews say, it's designed well. However, after sitting on my knees on top of it there are two indentations. It doesn't impair the use, but it was disappointing. You can see the interior structure trying to poke through the surface on the lid.

We purchased this from the local Lifetime store. Brought it home to assemble it. Right away the front panel did not slide into its grooves. So, we slid the back panel into its grooves, it went in just fine. We again attempted the front panel, Even used a rubber mallet, WD-40 (for slipperiness), standing the storage unit on end, etc. nothing worked. So, we swapped the front with the back one, and the front panel slipped in just fine. Then, trying the back panel into the front panel slots … it worked! We don’t care that the Lifetime name is upside down. The rest of the assembly when just fine.

I bought this storage bin to hold all our outdoor toys. Balls, inflatable pools, Tonka trucks, camping chairs, sand toys, rakes...all these things have been well protected over 3 years in our yard. My kids climb on it and in it, and it is holding strong.

This was the perfrect size for storing our outdoor chair cushions. The instructions were fairly well illustrated and all but the top was very easy to assemble. You do need tools that are not included and all the hardware goes to assemblng the top. A rubber mallet is indispensible. Assembled, top is easy to open with the 2 shock absorbers. It is perfect for our needs and am really happy with the price and quality.

I am so glad I got this Storage Box! It is well constructed and holds all my gardening supplies. It has lots of room and can double as a bench or table when needed. It holds up in the Florida sun and I don't have to worry about getting another one in a couple of years.

I appreciate how mujch this deck box holds. However, two months after assembly, I discovered the lounge cushions I put in it are mildewed and have mold on them! The box is leaking around the front edge (mainly around lock area) when it rains. It seems to fit together well, but there was about 2 cups of water sitting on top of the cushions and rug inside of the deck box. I now have a large piece of plastic covering it which looks horrible and defeats the purpose of a new deck box.

This storage box looks great on the deck! It holds alot of stuff too. It was easy to put together and I like the fact that the lid will not slam down on you. We have had alot of rain lately so I looked inside and everything was dry. It was worth the money.
