I purchased this box last summer and it is build solid! This thing will last a long time and has even survived blowing off our deck during a crazy storm. Easy to put together, prompt delivery... no complaints. Planning on buying a second one for out in the yard this summer. You can't go wrong with this one.

I've had this unit for two years now, and it looks as good as the day I got it, surviving both winter and summers outdoors in PA. I have had no problem with water, snow or creatures getting in. Assembly is easy provided you do pay attention to the directions.

We have a Lifetime model # 60040 for years! This is our second purchase not to replace but in addition too. It has served us well! The only complaint is the rusting of the hardware! I think a product used outdoors should have weather resistant hardware!

This is my second box first one bought 4 years ago this is a duplicate of that a perfect high quality storage vehicle. Easy to assemble only one person necessary.this was not a replacement box with a duplicate when I have to on my deck now when was good to might be

The first on one we bought fit perfectly on our new deck. We store our patio furniture cushions in it. However, we have more cushions than will fit in just one box. We bought an additional box because they were a great price. Everything fit perfectly. Here is the triple duty part..........because we have two boxes, we have put them side by side and our grandchildren use them as a seat as well as a table. So, a storage box, a seat, and a table. It doesn't get any better than that! Well maybe just for one more thing, my husband thought their durability was so great, that we bought one more to put in the garage for his fishing equipment.

I used reward points to order this storage deck box thinking, based on the description, it would be the perfect accessory to my new gazebo. WHAT A PIECE OF TRASH! The side screw holes should have had starter holes created at the factory and some were off a bit which made attaching the sides together a two man project. I had to google a U Tube video to figure out how to attach the hinges and gas springs because the written instructions weren't cutting it. And the lid - OMG don't even get me started on that - as in previous reviews - it wouldn't line up with the sides and front to allow closure. My brother and I wound up using a heat gun to gently carve away the plastic on the left and right sides of the lid to allow it to close and keep out the weather and bugs. The only way I would buy one of these again would be if it came already assembled. Once it's put together it is a substantial piece of storage and gets the job done. I have 8 folded stadium chairs and a radio in mine and plenty of room for anything else I want to store out of the weather. So, in closing, I recommend buying a case of beer before starting - two if you have someone helping you - you'll need it - and if you don't drink, trying to put this beast together will drive you to it.

I use my 130 gallon deck box to store the large cushions to my patio furniture. The plastic is thick and very strong. This box does not just snap together, it has hardware that comes with it (screws, brackets etc.) which are heavy duty as well making the box very strong and sturdy to be used as additional seating. This box is not flimsy at all. I looked at all the other brands over the past year before purchasing this one. The disadvantage for me is that the box is only 20.75 inches wide on the inside so my large cushions will not lay flat. Because the cushions have to stand up, all of the cushions will not fit. :-( If this box was about 2 inches wider or was available in 140 to 150 gallons, I would give it 5 stars! Though it only comes in the one color, it happens to go well with my grey and sand colored patio furniture. Although a wider box would store all of my cushions, I chose this one because of its quality and it's sale price. I plan to use it for a very long time!

We read the instructions carefully and got out all the tools recommended to use. We watched the video several times during each step. The deck box took over 2 hours to assemble. The lid does not close securely. I watched the videos again afterward to see if there was anything we could have done differently to make the lid fit more securely. The manufacturer did not align screw holes with the hinges. The hinges also set too high over the lid rail, as if the hinges were not made properly. They did not drill holes for screws to be inserted. The holes that the manufacturer did drill were not completely drilled through. The washers and bolts were not properly packaged together. I bought this deck box because it was made in the USA, thinking it would be better quality and better level manufacturing. Poor manufacturing.

This is a great storage solution for our pool deck. It stays dry inside and holds all our kids pool tools and etc plus it looks nice. We bought one last year and then another this year for our patio. No sun/uv fading of color, our old one looks just like the new one.

It was very easy to put together and took me about an hour. You will need tools, 7/16 & ½ wrenches, 3/8, 7/16, ½ sockets, rubber mallet and a Philips screwdriver. I would recommend avoiding the temptation to use power tools as you are screwing into plastic and it would be very easy to strip the treads. So do not over tighten the screws. Make sure you align and securely fix the back, front and sides to the base, (I did use a rubber mallet) and you will find the box is very sturdy. The instructions suggest two people to put it together, but I put it together on my own. It might have been helpful to have someone when you put on and align the top, but I had no real problem. I had to clean out some of the pre-drilled holes and I pre-drilled a few holes on the front of the lid to make it easier to insert screws, otherwise no issues. Read the instructions and you should find it easy too. The box is very large and it already stores eight of our folding chairs and will comfortably accommodate our chair cushions when they are ready to be stored away for the winter. The other reviews said it is waterproof, so I hope that’s true. I hope my review was helpful.
