I bought mine last fall. It is light to move, and I really like the fact that it keeps everything inside dry. It is a little pricey, but worth it to know cushions from my good metal set will keep dry and clean. I wash it off with a hose, but you must have the lid down firmly to keep things dry. I also like the fact that it holds its value, as the sun does not trash it.

The Lifetime 130 Gal Deck Box is well made, sturdy, easy to assemble (it took my husband by himself 20-30 minutes to assemble), it is huge and looks great! Lifetime has made some changes on how the pistons and hinges attach, I had read some reviews that expressed some concern but when I looked at the reviews pictures, like 2012, 2013 reviews, our deck box assembly and hardware is little different. I do not think Lifetime supplies stainless steel nuts and bolts with this product which they should due to rusting issues, so my husband is going to replace the included nuts and bolts with stainless steel ones. We have gone through deck boxes every year for the past 3 years and I feel this deck box will last us many years to come. It is used for pool toys, and pool items and sits in direct sun on our deck. I tried to upload a pic but website keeps saying "time limit exceeded, unable to upload", sorry

Fabulous storage box. Really well made and all the parts fitted together easily. The instruction booklet is very clear and gives great assembly advice. It was a pleasure to assemble and the supplied screws and bolts were great. I would highly recommend this storage box to anyone wanting a good quality product. Many thanks.

Perfect fit storage. Fits all of our cushions, one of which is a large egg chair cushion. Very happy to get all these cushions out of the spare bedroom. Price was better than all the rest that we looked at. This storage fits perfectly where we have it on the deck. Really happy with purchase. We changed the lid screw location. Directions said end holes, but second hole in from sides was better. Easy to assemble.

This is the third deck box that I purchased. The first two were purchased over ten years ago and look and perform as good as new. Use them to store patio cushions, pool toys, pool chemicals, patio umbrellas and a host of other things. Never any weather or water damage. Hinges and top closers work like the day they were purchased. Probably one of the best products I have ever purchased.

I purchased two of these boxes for my deck to replace some very old ones. They look great, are sturdy and a great size. My only issue is putting them together. I would prefer it if the sides were screwed to the bottom rather than fitting together with the plastic tabs. I could not get the short pieces to snap into place on the bottom no matter what I tried so I finally put screws in them to hold them in place. Other than assembly, I'm happy with the deck boxes.

I used reward points to order this storage deck box thinking, based on the description, it would be the perfect accessory to my new gazebo. WHAT A PIECE OF TRASH! The side screw holes should have had starter holes created at the factory and some were off a bit which made attaching the sides together a two man project. I had to google a U Tube video to figure out how to attach the hinges and gas springs because the written instructions weren't cutting it. And the lid - OMG don't even get me started on that - as in previous reviews - it wouldn't line up with the sides and front to allow closure. My brother and I wound up using a heat gun to gently carve away the plastic on the left and right sides of the lid to allow it to close and keep out the weather and bugs. The only way I would buy one of these again would be if it came already assembled. Once it's put together it is a substantial piece of storage and gets the job done. I have 8 folded stadium chairs and a radio in mine and plenty of room for anything else I want to store out of the weather. So, in closing, I recommend buying a case of beer before starting - two if you have someone helping you - you'll need it - and if you don't drink, trying to put this beast together will drive you to it.

Pros:"Well made in USA" Cons:"none" Best Uses:"Outside storage clutter" Bottom Line:Yes, I would recommend this to a friend. I found this very easy to assemble. It has great storage space and is well made. The fact it's made in the USA was a huge selling point to me. I liked it so much, I ordered another one. Best price is thru [...] at [$]. I Highly recommend, you won't be disapointed!

We love this deck box. Per all the other reviews-heavy duty, well-constructed and nice looking. The only disappointing thing was the assembly instructions. They were very difficult to follow. Not well written causing assembly to take a lot longer than it should have. Aside from that, very happy to have this in our back patio area. Well worth the price.

I'm now on hold for 20 minutes for customer service with respect to an assembly problem. And to make it worse, even though the interminable wait is frequently interrupted by a recording indicating "press 1 to leave a message", that feature doesn't work. In any event, the panels must be warped or otherwise defective and they do not fit together. Hope this review elicits a response before I return the item or initiate a chargeback.
