This arrived earlier than predicted. All parts were included and in great condition. The instructions are fairly easy to read, but I did look at the video for the metal parts. Be sure to follow the instructions, I tried to put the sides on without reading and ended up almost breaking it because I needed to take it apart and do it right. It is bigger than I thought and holds a lot of stuff safely. It sits under the overhang on the front porch with our outside and pool toys. Now we sit outside more because we have a place to sit in the shade. I read a review that said it lasted him 15 years, so we shall see.

I replaced another deck box with this one and I couldn't be happier! This "Lifetime" deck box is easy to assemble, great looking, water tight, and strong. I would recommend this item to anyone looking for a way to store things outside that need to stay dry.

Pros -Sturdy -nice color -seems to be made of quality materials (wall and lid ONLY). Cons -High price -Instructions can be simpler -Hardware can be labeled - Hardware holes should have anchors installed from the manufacture to increase durability and strength. -Lid struts feels cheap also they wiggle a lot when you open. I am sure manufacturer can build a much better product for the price

Fairly easy assembly. This is the second one that I got for my shooting range to hold different types of targets and equipment. Plenty of room, and, in my case, good for sorting AR500 and action targets from paper and plinking targets with other items. These are kept in a wooded area in all sorts of weather, including surviving harsh winters.

Received the Lifetime 130 Gal. Outdoor Storage Box undamaged which was good since others had said it was received damaged. Very easy to assemble by one person. Received 2 days of heavy rain and product remained weather tight as described. Very good product and would buy again if a need for another comes up. Highly recommend it..!!

I bought a deck box 2 1/2 yrs ago. The box looks new still but the hinges had rusted making the top not close correctly. I called customer service and they sent me a brand new hinges and all the accessories to repair the box. AT NO CHARGE!! Now that’s a great company!!! Thanks Lifetime

Rubbermaid has an excellent rep so I purchased one with high expectations. Instructions were very good and I assembled this myself. The only problem I has was with the lid because I did not have the box on level ground. Buy one - you won't regret it!

I purchased one from you 3 years ago and ordered a second because the one from Lowe’s kept falling apart so I wanted another lifetime. Watched a YouTube to assemble which helped. I’m super happy with this item . I would highly recommend. The product is sturdy and somewhat easy to put together..I actually like putting things together.

I received this product in a damaged condition - most likely the Shipping Carrier’s fault. I immediately called Lifetime’s Customer Service (CS) and after forwarding photo’s of said product, I subsequently received an email indicating a new part was being shipped. Sara, the CS Rep was very understanding and acted in a most professional manner in expeditiously resolving this issue. Kudos to her! The product itself, from the parts I attempted to assemble, appears to be of excellent quality, construction and durability.

After reading many reviews finally decided on the Lifetime 130 gallon deck box. Was a little leery after many reviews said how hard it was to put together. Shipment arrived within 4 days of order. Package was in good condition on the outside. After opening package all pieces were intact and in good condition, Reviewed online assembly instructions along with the written instructions in the box. Written instructions not really clear but online instructions helped a lot. My 6 year old grandson helped me assemble box and took us about an hour. All pieces went together fairly easily and fit well. Would suggest before you start screwing the corners (attaching the side pieces together) make sure and push in the front and back panels to the side panel and make sure they are as level as possible before inserting the screws. I think this helped make everything square so that the lid closed perfectly on the first try. This thing is huge, grandson layed down inside of it and still had lots of room on each end. I did seal the inside and outside seams and tabs with silicone to keep water and insects out. My wife and I both sat on top of it at the same time and there was very little if any bowing. Would not recommend constant heavy weight but especially kids sitting on the top occasionally should not be an issue. Cordless drill really helpful to put the screws in since a lot of the holes either were barely punched or nothing, but the screws go right in easily, just don't overtighten. has not been out in the hot, direct sun yet but I plan on having it under roof most of the time anyway. Very good looking. Both hinges are identical so I had to flip the hinge pins on one of them but hinges work well and lid closes securely. You have to lift just off to either side of the tab for the padlock to open lid but on closing you feel an little click when it is closed. Overall would recommend this deck box and I would buy again.
