Nothing I didn't like. We have one like this that is about 7 years old and has weathered three hurricanes. The new one has updated colors but the same reliable construction. can fit my outdoor folding chairs and other cushions, and even the golf cart cover. You can even sit on it!

I bought this unit from an individual and thought the box was unopened. Opened igt up and was missing all hardware except for the metal piece. I called to order the hardware. The screw package was unavailable but the hinges and struts are. The agent ordered them at no charge! I can purchase the screws locally and they aren't needed to assemble the box. They are needed to avoid warping.

The first chest we purchased a couple of years ago in the store. We needed another one and since the first was just what we needed, we knew we wanted another one. We purchased our second chest from Sam's online store. Not as good as the first one. Lid doesn't fit right at one corner and afraid it is going to allow rain to get into the chest. If this second chest worked out as well as the first one, YES we would recommend it to a friend, but would not recommend the second chest....

Easy to put together and tested it for waterproofness. It kept my cushions dry. Very roomy. Have room left over and I'm thinking of storing Paper goods and utensils. Would make more room in the garage. Extremely happy with it and it lasts a lifetime. Well constructed. You can sit on it.

I think the quality is going to be durable for a long time. Packaging was missing a few screws which meant looking for some that would fit. Assembly was doable for one person, however would've gone much quicker with two. One edge isn't yet closing securely which I hope I can fix as I want this to remain outside and be weatherproof. Shipping and that side of the purchase went smoothly.

We live near the Gulf of Mexico. I was looking for something to store my outdoor cushions. This box is perfect. My Grandson and his 11 yr. Old daughter assembled it for me, and I am very pleased with how it looks. I also like the feature of the lid not slamming down. A plus in my book. My cushions are now dry and clean when I need them.

The unique design (quite smart), plastic quality/stiffness (a BIG plus), bug security, and extreme ease of assembly beats all the other deck boxes, hands down. The few included screws all hit home and tighten very solidly, adding further to the stiffness of the entire assembly. On top of this, the Lifetime box has TWO gas lift cylinders, which few (if any) others have. When the lid is closed, it snaps shut....and opening is literally a reverse snap. This is one high quality deck box! I'm using mine in my back yard to hold my Mantis tiller, handheld gas blower, two BBQ cylinders, two bug zappers, and a fold-up wagon (from Costco)....and it still has just enough room for all my patio furniture covers (which is why I bought it in the first place). I've had previous Rubbermaid deck boxes, and inspected the latest Suncast and Keter, but was pleasantly surprised that none have the robustness of this Lifetime box. A great find!!

Arrived Quickly. No Damage. All parts included. Easy to Assemble - however, getting the tools in some of the areas required a little patience. Holes for screws aren't pre-drilled so you have to make sure you have some of the pieces lined up correctly. You screw them directly into the plastic. Directions are fairly easy to understand, although some word guidance might have been nice. All the directions are pictures only. We actually missed two screws the first time and had to go back and add them later when we had leftovers. Once assembled, this box is sturdy and stays open on its own. We are able to store outdoor furniture pillows without having to drag them in the house or garage every time. So far, it holds 2 Rocker pillows, 3 from the love seat and two small chair pillows. Also, stays open on its own. Very Happy with this item.

My husband and I were very happy with our purchase. It is very sturdy as described. He had an easy time putting it together, and he will be the first to say he is not by any means, a handyman around the house. For us, the size is perfect for storing our outdoor deck cushions and pillows etc. Yes, we are very pleased with our purchase. We would highly recommend this company.

I put together a lot of my own furniture, so I'm not new to this process, but this product was by far the hardest thing I've ever tried to put together. It wasn't because it is actually complicated, but because there's no indication in the description of the product (prior to purchase), what tools you will need. I did not have the correct size wrench or ratchet, but didn't realize that until I was already halfway through building so I couldn't disassemble and go to the store without losing a lot of time and effort. As long as you have a pretty comprehensive tool set you'll be fine, but just be aware you need several wrenches, a ratchet, and two screwdrivers to put this together. Once assembled, the product is great. It's spacious, seals tightly, and takes a normal sized padlock.
