We have had this unit for about 2 years now. It is located outside in the Texas heat and we have never had any issues with critters getting into it….However, we aren’t storing food items either. Also we have not experienced any issues with degrading quality due to the unit being outside. The assembly was pretty straightforward and we didn’t encounter any issues putting this together. As long as you follow the instructions and make sure you have the correct parts in the correct direction and slots all should be good. This is definitely worth the price point. Oh yes and the interior is huge and the top is suitable for a full sized adult or two to sit comfortably but I just use it for storage space.

I now have two of the Lifetime storage boxes, a medium size and the 130 gallon size. Both were easy to put together if you can read and study the pictures. Both are weather tight. The 130 gallon size is perfect for our pool toys including the long noodles.

I use my 130 gallon deck box to store the large cushions to my patio furniture. The plastic is thick and very strong. This box does not just snap together, it has hardware that comes with it (screws, brackets etc.) which are heavy duty as well making the box very strong and sturdy to be used as additional seating. This box is not flimsy at all. I looked at all the other brands over the past year before purchasing this one. The disadvantage for me is that the box is only 20.75 inches wide on the inside so my large cushions will not lay flat. Because the cushions have to stand up, all of the cushions will not fit. :-( If this box was about 2 inches wider or was available in 140 to 150 gallons, I would give it 5 stars! Though it only comes in the one color, it happens to go well with my grey and sand colored patio furniture. Although a wider box would store all of my cushions, I chose this one because of its quality and it's sale price. I plan to use it for a very long time!

Great for pool deck box for the kids' toys. Feels very sturdy. Minus one star since doesn't close perfectly. I do have another just like it which I have used for cushions on my upper deck and we keep it closed by hanging padlock in there that we don't actually lock.

We just put Liftime 133 gallons Storage Box together and so far really like it. Some suggestions for assembly. Unpack your patience. Watch the videos and read the directions before starting. It took us almost 2 hours. It might be less for someone who is more handy. It really helped to assemble on carpeting. Two people is highly suggested. Some tips, when assembling the long sides, make sure the tabs match up to the slot and snap in fully before performing the locking move. It shows using your foot in the demo. Can’t see how that would be enough force. We hit it quite hard multiple times on the block of wood with a mallet to lock. When snapping in the shorter side walls, make sure not push them too far down. We had this issue with one side and when we were attaching the hinge the screw holes didn’t match up. We adjusted the side wall up slightly and then the screw holes lined up. When installing the metal lid support we also used the mallet and gently tapped into place. Once assembled the lid closure is a bit off. We have to push it down lightly on one side to form a seal, but otherwise it all came together great. It rained last night and the cushions stayed nice and dry.

I purchased this box last year and I am just thrilled with it. It looks nice and stores all my outdoor cushions, umbrella, hammock, plus a lot more. Also it is keeps everything dry. I am ordering another one, for all my garden supplies, and just miscellaneous items. This will make more room in my shed. I really love this deck box, and I highly recommend it.

I just purchased 2 60012 boxes and am very satisfied. I was short one small item and no problem them sending it. Easy assembly, only front and rear panels difficult to fasten to floor panel, but a little wd40 fixed that, and happy about made in USA.

Designed for easy installation, sturdy panels, engineered to hold together. The assembly went smoothly with a few additional tools: a rubber mallet - to firmly seat the side panels, a small head steel tapping hammer - to properly align the metal front flange, and a high torque, low speed drill to quickly and easily seat the bolts. All in all assembly went faster than I anticipated.

Perfect size for garage for boating and fishing supplies when boat is out of the water for winter. Sturdy, well built. Lifetime items are higher quality than similar brands. I would have given 5 stars except for the fact that the pre-drilled holes to attach the right and left hinges to the side panel (Step 2.11

I read directions and watched video on assembly. Was extra careful and got it assembled. Did not go together as easy as shown in video, but with help from my wife we managed. I like that it is very solid an well constructed. Seemed very big, but I filled it and got all the bbq stuff off the patio.
