The Lifetime 130 Gal Deck Box is well made, sturdy, easy to assemble (it took my husband by himself 20-30 minutes to assemble), it is huge and looks great! Lifetime has made some changes on how the pistons and hinges attach, I had read some reviews that expressed some concern but when I looked at the reviews pictures, like 2012, 2013 reviews, our deck box assembly and hardware is little different. I do not think Lifetime supplies stainless steel nuts and bolts with this product which they should due to rusting issues, so my husband is going to replace the included nuts and bolts with stainless steel ones. We have gone through deck boxes every year for the past 3 years and I feel this deck box will last us many years to come. It is used for pool toys, and pool items and sits in direct sun on our deck. I bought my deck box and assembly was easy. When finished the lid wouldn't lin up to close. I examined the lid and it was warped. I called customer service the gentleman I talked with was very pleasant and helpful. Within 15 minutes a new lid was on order at no cost to me and arrived in less than the time I was expecting. I installed the new lid and the box is great. I would definitely purchase more products from this company.

I just picked up two of these storage boxes yesterday and put them together today, ( 1-05-2020). I was going to get the instruction manual and review it at work but the only box I opened did not have one. No problem, easy enough to print off from the Lifetime website. It was actually easy to put together, it was recommended to use two people but my wife was at work and I did it myself. The first one took about an hour as I went slow and kept refering to the pictures. The manual was right on target so don't skip over any pages as tempting as it will be, and your box will come out perfect. I put our chair cushions in one box, it held six chair cushions and a three person swing cushions. Still some room left. Anyway, very happy with this product so far and looking forward to many years service.

Exactly the right size and went together easily. Liked the setup video. Problem was that one of the key bolts to connect the closure piston was missing and now have to wait 5-7 days to get this unique piece. The package came with 2 bolts in the bag and 1 laying in the box and one missing. Most self assembly products always come with one extra of unique parts. So I can't use the box for another week. Boo

Box was delivered as scheduled. Easy to assemble. It is very spacious. My son has lots of superheroes and Marvel characters which are still in boxes and never been opened. They are his collections. They fit in this box. I am so happy that 75% of the clutter was removed inside his room! I wish I can purchase another one but the price increased.

I have owned several of these and this is by far the best. Stronger, better construction, and appears to be built to stand up to the Colorado sun and weather. Relatively easy to assemble and fairly clear instructions. Good warranty. This is a winner. Slightly higher in price than much of the competition, but significantly higher quality more than offsets the cost.

I just bought my third Lifetime Storage Box. I have had the previous two for several years now (purchased 2nd one in 2014 and 1st one before that!) and both have held up very well. They have remained outdoors on my patio and by my pool all year here in NJ and are still in excellent condition. The finish on both is still in excellent condition and have not stained with mold/algae as other plastic stuff has in my yard. They clean up easily in the springtime. I use these to store patio furniture cushions, pool tools, pool toys and supplies. They boxes were fairly easy to assemble. I found the instructions clear and easy to follow. It is a lot easier to attach the lid if you have an assistant to hold it but I was able to do it by myself just fine. I also cleaned up the through-holes of plastic burrs left after the manufacturing process to allow easier insertion of the hinge bolts. No big deal. One very important reason I purchased these specific model boxes from Lifetime is because they are made in the USA. I am extremely pleased with this storage box and I highly recommend it.

Took me just over 25 minutes to assemble at a relaxed rate, there are other languages in the manual, but that's an easy fix since I can't read chinese, don't know why that is such an obstacle for some ppl. Manual was straight forward, took me longer to find my tools than anything else. Will replace my poor quality Keter deck box.

Love the deck box but not as easy to assemble per instructions. One on the long sides did not go into the slots. One slot at the one end did not stay in place as if it did not line up. We finally got it all put together. It took 2 hours which was way longer than we thought.

First box arrived but plastic pieces were very warped and would not fit together no matter what we did. My husbands a contractor but this thing frustrated the heck out of him! Second box arrived and plastic pieces fit together. We were pretty happy BUT this was tedious and very time consuming to put together. We would NOT recommend this to anyone. You will need lots of tools to put this thing together such as a mallet, screw driver, open end wrenches, and can’t recall any more at this time. Then there is a book on hoe to put this monster together. Finally, the manufacturers knew what they were doing when they decided to sell products like this unassembled...it’s honestly a pain to put this together and I would never buy anything like this again!!!!!!!
