Box is perfect for what we need! Huge capacity storage. It came in a flat box so a lot of assembly needed. Easy to follow instructions just time consuming a weekend afternoon project getting it together. Depending on what you store inside, make sure it doesn’t have to be moved once loaded!

I bought three of them, I store bulk bags of wood pellets for my pellet bar-b-que in one, firewood in another and patio furniture seat pads and covers in the third one. They are well made, heavy duty and go together easily. The hydraulic lid strut is a great touch and keeps the lid open even in a strong wind. I highly recommend these deck boxes for anyone looking for extra outside storage.

We are very happy with this deck box. We did a lot of online research before deciding on the deck box to purchase and this product had high ratings. The interior is very large. The unit is sturdy and well built. We can sit on it without any buckling or damage. The lid fits securely and stays open with metal hinges. The contents stay dry - perfect for storing our outdoor cushions. It was easy to assemble. We would highly recommend this deck box.

Couldn't wait to get the deck box, we needed it ASAP for extra storage. As I was assembling it, I noticed the front panel was distorted and would not go together. We debated about sending it back, but we knew it would be another week at least, we decided to wait. I put it in the sun and manufactured a clamping system, long story short, after about two hours I finally got it assembled. The lid still does not close without a strong force on the right hand corner, but does close secure, The front lip on the front panel is also distorted. We order this over others, because we have found Lifetime to be a good quality product. We were disappointed! It is a nice heavy built box and holds lot of stuff.

Not happy putting this together. The manual has a gazillion languages, and it was very confusing. Good luck putting this all together. This is my 2nd day and I still have not figure it out. I would be happy if they could send somebody over here to assemble this.

Just assembled this unit yesterday. In addition to tools listed in the instructions I needed 10 mm and 13mm wrenches and sockets. Ends and sides did not fit together without gaps at top or bottom, not flush top to bottom. Star (Phillips) heads on screws are too small for good grip. Some screws had to be put in at an angle because holes did not perfectly match receptacles. Difficult to believe that the box will be waterproof let alone water resistant in the foul weather common here at 8,600 ft. in the Rocky Mountains. I will caulk inside and out but I suggest applying caulk to all seams, bottoms and sides and ends, as they are assembled, then inside and out. Why is there a significant openings to the outside at the hinge elbows?

This was the perfrect size for storing our outdoor chair cushions. The instructions were fairly well illustrated and all but the top was very easy to assemble. You do need tools that are not included and all the hardware goes to assemblng the top. A rubber mallet is indispensible. Assembled, top is easy to open with the 2 shock absorbers. It is perfect for our needs and am really happy with the price and quality.

I have bought nine of these extra large boxes and used them to ship stuff overseas. Only had problem with one with the side bottom tabs which didn't properly slide into the bottom piece causing it to pop out, however, by large these boxes are very sturdy and stand up to the rigours of sea shipping.

This item is billed as easy assembly but unless you have a full tool kit at home including different sized wrenches (with socket wrench) it's going to require a trip to the hardware store. That wasn't mentioned anywhere on the product webpage. Also, the plastic moldings on mine are not a perfect fit so even after hammering, jimmying, adjusting, and putting full weight into it, one of the corners still sits 1/2 inch higher than the others leaving the bottom corner exposed for dirt, water and bugs. Not really happy with this at all.

I've had this product for about 6 or 7 years now and it has held up great! Half of it's life has been spent sitting on an asphalt driveway (read: added heat!) and the other half of it's life has been in my backyard on grass (cooler, but southern facing, so lots of sun exposure). While time consuming to put together, it has held up extremely well and looks just about as good as the day it was new. I have a second deck box/bench made by a competitor and the plastic on that one has cracked and panels have warped to the point that it's almost not worth using anymore. I would definitely buy again, in fact, I'm looking to add a second one to my add to my pool area for various pool supplies.
