The first on one we bought fit perfectly on our new deck. We store our patio furniture cushions in it. However, we have more cushions than will fit in just one box. We bought an additional box because they were a great price. Everything fit perfectly. Here is the triple duty part..........because we have two boxes, we have put them side by side and our grandchildren use them as a seat as well as a table. So, a storage box, a seat, and a table. It doesn't get any better than that! Well maybe just for one more thing, my husband thought their durability was so great, that we bought one more to put in the garage for his fishing equipment.

Bought this outdoor storage deck box to store all my pool equipment and kiddy pool toys. I thought it was very attractive and just what I needed. With a year or so after my purchase the hinges all rusted along with and cover supports which all rusted and stained my pavers and is a real eye sore. If you plan on using it in Southwest Florida think twice as I am in the process of throwing mine into the garbage.

I bought this bin and placed it on the dock by our boat. It is very water resistant, sturdy has by far the best hinges and can take a lot of weight on the lid. I had other bins previously for the same application and they barely lasted a season. Had to junk them. I would give this higher stars but they they only allow five.

The pistons and mounting hardware rusted badly after only a short time. Customer service told me that rust is not covered under the ten year warranty since it is considered to be an "environmental issue". I had assumed that this box was designed to withstand the outdoors environment and prevent rust since it is advertised as an OUTDOOR storage box. Very disappointed all around!

We just put Liftime 133 gallons Storage Box together and so far really like it. Some suggestions for assembly. Unpack your patience. Watch the videos and read the directions before starting. It took us almost 2 hours. It might be less for someone who is more handy. It really helped to assemble on carpeting. Two people is highly suggested. Some tips, when assembling the long sides, make sure the tabs match up to the slot and snap in fully before performing the locking move. It shows using your foot in the demo. Can’t see how that would be enough force. We hit it quite hard multiple times on the block of wood with a mallet to lock. When snapping in the shorter side walls, make sure not push them too far down. We had this issue with one side and when we were attaching the hinge the screw holes didn’t match up. We adjusted the side wall up slightly and then the screw holes lined up. When installing the metal lid support we also used the mallet and gently tapped into place. Once assembled the lid closure is a bit off. We have to push it down lightly on one side to form a seal, but otherwise it all came together great. It rained last night and the cushions stayed nice and dry.

I now have two of the Lifetime storage boxes, a medium size and the 130 gallon size. Both were easy to put together if you can read and study the pictures. Both are weather tight. The 130 gallon size is perfect for our pool toys including the long noodles.

This item is billed as easy assembly but unless you have a full tool kit at home including different sized wrenches (with socket wrench) it's going to require a trip to the hardware store. That wasn't mentioned anywhere on the product webpage. Also, the plastic moldings on mine are not a perfect fit so even after hammering, jimmying, adjusting, and putting full weight into it, one of the corners still sits 1/2 inch higher than the others leaving the bottom corner exposed for dirt, water and bugs. Not really happy with this at all.

Panels are a little warped so watch out putting the sides together with the base. Make sure the sides slide all the way over and lock into the base or you will have problems. Be careful with your hammer or you can dent the box. Top really not suitable for adults to sit on but fine for kids and smaller adults. Not hard to put together if you get everything squared up before you start screwing things together.

We bought it for storage for our camping chairs over the winter - but nope - we use it year round. In fact we went back and bought another one. Great for storage of almost anything (pool toys, cushions for deck chairs, small weed eater, and the list just goes on. Perfect for on the deck or on the side of the patio!!

I was looking for a storage box that could hold six, 4" thick chair cushions and still close without having to sit on the lid. That's exactly what I got with this purchase! It was so easy to put together. It looks nice, not cheap. It definitely cost more than the others' I was looking at but, the money spent was well worth it. With the hydraulics under the lid, one person can take things out or put them away without fear of the lid coming down on their head. It's sturdy too. I'm not worried about anything happening when someone who's larger sits on it. I can't say enough good about it.
