The deck box is roomy and sturdy. It is easy to assemble. The problem for me is the lid. There are no holes to attach the metal rod to the lid. Since I cannot attach the rod to the lid, I cannot attach the hinges to the lid and box. You have to make your own holes. I thought I had a lid that was not properly made until I watched the video. I have not assembled the lid to box because of the effort it takes to make the holes. A drill would make it easier. I put the top on top of the box and use it.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I selected the 130 gal. box to store to store my two-person rope hammock and patio cushions, along with toys, balls and other items used around the pool. It looks great and keeps everything dry. It was easy to assemble, particularly when you can review the assembly video as you go. Highly recommend.

Wrong lid support sent, had to call for the right one, Holes too small for provided screws, had to go to HomeDepot for size smaller, holes not pre-drilled in box, no brackets that they show at end of video to slide inside under panel. Not even finished assembling it so have no idea what other problems we’ll encounter!

It has a 10 year warranty - still so much room for even more outdoor supplies and a lot more room still available. I even have my chaise and my folding tent in it. It does not provide a lock, but, I bought one for $5.00 no problem. It is very sturdy and nice looking. It was no problem to assemble. It can serve as extra seating or even a table. I am already considering getting another one. The best I found after going on line and comparing it to many others including Rubbermaid. I had never heard of this company before but so happy I was able to find it.

The plastic “male” pieces on the bottom of the back panel and front panel are too large and don’t slide. For as much as I paid for this thing, you would think the basics would be taken care of. Don’t waste your money on a company that charges the customer for a return plus a stocking fee. I’ve learned my lesson.

I purchased two of these boxes for my deck to replace some very old ones. They look great, are sturdy and a great size. My only issue is putting them together. I would prefer it if the sides were screwed to the bottom rather than fitting together with the plastic tabs. I could not get the short pieces to snap into place on the bottom no matter what I tried so I finally put screws in them to hold them in place. Other than assembly, I'm happy with the deck boxes.

Seems like good quality from Lifetime. I will test it outdoors for wear and water resistance. Its easier to assemble if you follow the written instructions and watch the video. Had some difficulty with the front panel as the base seemed slightly curved making it hard to lock into place in the middle. Had someone push down as I locked it into place. .

Took me just over 25 minutes to assemble at a relaxed rate, there are other languages in the manual, but that's an easy fix since I can't read chinese, don't know why that is such an obstacle for some ppl. Manual was straight forward, took me longer to find my tools than anything else. Will replace my poor quality Keter deck box.

Great job again. I bought the product from Lowe's in Broken Arrow, Oklahoma and there were no glitches in the purchasing experience. Product was labeled well and presented accurately. When I got home, I brought the box to my poolside area and my wife and I assembled the chest without any difficulty at all, in 105 degrees F. 5.. Assembly Instructions: Well written, easy to follow in spite of the fact I left my glasses at the house. Instructions were complete and easy to read. Good job, graphic design. 6.. It looks great and does exactly what I expected it to do. Please post this, as you wish, for the whole team to read. Job well done! I will not hesitate to recommend all your products to my friends, and will repeat purchase without mental reservation.

Lifetime responded to an issue we had with attention and communication that's hard to come by these days. Their products are solid, and if there is any issue with anything, they don't quit until the customer is satisfied. I received a helpful email reply every time, and even my phone call requests were met with an actual "human" helping me. End result: hubby happy, and I'm happy. Thanks for all you guys do!
