I own 3 of these and use them for outdoor storage on the Oregon Coast. They are pretty much water tight and do not sweat in weather changes. Easy to assemble and very sturdy. One I use to store gasoline and diesel containers which is great for safety. One for construction chemicals and one for household recycle items. Won't wont dent if you sit on it either.

I didn't want to buy a toy chest only to get rid of it in a couple of years.....wanted to buy something that would store toys now but have other uses later. This certainly fits the bill. As a toy chest it is GREAT! so roomy......so sturdy.....and safe. Even the bulky toys fit in fine. The floor is sturdy enough for the kids to get in the box too. It's built well and I know we will use this bin our whole lives with multiple uses over the years.

I was searching for a outdoor storage box for our pool deck and looked at different brands of storage units. I read the reviews of different companies and Lifetimes outdoor storage box had the highest rating among consumers. So I ordered one and I was amazed at how well built it was and how simple it was to assemble. I'm very pleased with the purchase. On a side note we have a Lifetime Basket Ball goal I bought 8 years ago that is still in excellent condition. I'm now looking to purchase some additional Lifetime benches for our pool deck. Thanks Lifetime for making a product that's built to last.

I'm now on hold for 20 minutes for customer service with respect to an assembly problem. And to make it worse, even though the interminable wait is frequently interrupted by a recording indicating "press 1 to leave a message", that feature doesn't work. In any event, the panels must be warped or otherwise defective and they do not fit together. Hope this review elicits a response before I return the item or initiate a chargeback.

First - this things is BIG. Be sure you have room for it. I took me about 20 minutes to assemble working alone. Directions could use some improvement but it is pretty straight forward if you look at what you have. Totally dry inside after getting a 3 inch rain event.

I made several trips to different stores to look at many different outside storage boxes. The 60012 was the size and quality I was looking for. I was a little worried about the color I ordered because it was listed on line as brown. When it arrived the color was the same as pictured, brown top with taupe (light brown) sides which was exactly what I was looking for. Looks great on my porch and has plenty of room for my needs. Assembly was easy and the quality is super. Thanks Lifetime!

We are very happy with this deck box. We did a lot of online research before deciding on the deck box to purchase and this product had high ratings. The interior is very large. The unit is sturdy and well built. We can sit on it without any buckling or damage. The lid fits securely and stays open with metal hinges. The contents stay dry - perfect for storing our outdoor cushions. It was easy to assemble. We would highly recommend this deck box.

We own 2 of these boxes and I just ordered our 3rd. They are perfect for storing tools and gear for our pool, as well as misc. outdoor equipment. Our existing units have stood up extremely well to the harsh Texas summers. Access in and out is easy and the neutral color allows the boxes to blend-in to our yard without looking like eye sores.

This is not my first purchase of this deck box. I bought one last year and liked it so much that I decided to get another one because as we all know, you can't have too much storage space. My husband put them both together by himself and had no trouble doing it. He's an early riser so it was done before I woke up. The one I bought last year is all the same color so I like that this one has a darker lid so that they are not identical. I have them on an uncovered cement patio, close to the house, near the pool. One has some hangover from the house above it but the other one has much less and will be more exposed to the rain. I don't expect any problems because of the quality of the product. I have several smaller suncast deck boxes on the side of the house that I store gardening items in that are less sturdy and don't look very nice after a few years. That's why I changed brands. I live in Southern California so the weather isn't all that harsh but we do have a lot of sunshine that can be hard on the surface of an exposed product. The one that I purchased last year looks just the same as when I got it and it holds a lot of stuff. I am actually planning to use the last one purchased for extra storage of household and kitchen items along with a few craft items that I can no longer squeeze into the closets in the house. Should there be any problems from the expected heavy rainfall this year I will update review but I do not expect any.

Easy to assemble. Holds all our deck cushions and more. Appears to be rodent proof, well sealed. If I was to say anything against it, it would be that it is heavy. Takes 2 people to move around. Wheels on one end would have helped. But with that being said, it's just what we needed.
