Great product

We have had this item for over 3 yrs and it's been stored outside in the nastiest of Michigan winters. It's withheld storms through & through. It's easily washed up, snaps apart for cleaning & sturdy. Keeps everything clean & dry...even some of the largest lawn items! We love it!

Very good construction with a 10 year warranty!

Before I bought this 130 gallon lifetime product, I did research several reviews which I found to be very good. Once the product arrived it was easy to assemble. It’s important to read the instructions thoroughly before proceeding with the assembly. Make sure you match up the proper screws which are self tapping, a great convenience. I like the way they laid out the tools needed which was very helpful. I did look into third video which was helpful though the instructions also are very good as well. I highly recommend this product and it looks like it will give many years of service and has double wall construction. WG, Oviedo Florida

Great outdoor storage box except for one little thing.

These are the best made of all the outdoor storage boxes. However, you cannot store pool chemicals inside them. The hardware will corrode and rust. What is more surprising, is that no where, adds or warranty, is there mention of this. The good news is that if it happens within the 10 year warranty, you can get replacement hardware. And store you chemicals somewhere else.

Lifetime 130 gallon deck box

I purchased this box last year and I am just thrilled with it. It looks nice and stores all my outdoor cushions, umbrella, hammock, plus a lot more. Also it is keeps everything dry. I am ordering another one, for all my garden supplies, and just miscellaneous items. This will make more room in my shed. I really love this deck box, and I highly recommend it.

I was pleased with this item

I put it together myself without the help of a man. It was a bit tricky but finally came together well. I like that the lid closes and there are no cracks for bugs to crawl into once the lid is closed. The bottom fits together snugly once it was put together. This seems to be pretty sturdy, not wobbly at all, and my grandkids love sitting on it too. It is great to be able to store all those items, that used to just sit and collect dust and spiders, somewhere to protect them from the weather and bugs.

Great box but read this about the assembly.

The box is of better quality than other boxes I have seen and I think most people will be pleased with it. But I feel compelled to inform other buyers about assembling it. 1) You must have the right tools and be able to use them efficiently and correctly. 2) Instructions are very concise and and will require a bit of intuition on your part. 3) Read the instructions correctly and orient the materials according to the pictures. (ie: when you turn the lid up side down to install the hinge what is the "left side" of the box is the "right side" of lid and yes it makes a difference) 4) If you have assembled kids' toys or Ikea furniture, then you know it will not be done in 15 or 30 minutes. 5) It helps to have a second person to hold things together as you assemble the box but I did it alone. 6) The instructions show you the tools you need. You will need them all. Make sure you have a rubber mallet. Hammers will damage the box. You will need a ratchet small enough to fit in small spaces. Do not use a straight edge screwdriver unless you want of stab yourself or ruin a screw head. 7) IMPORTANT: You need a Drill because some of the holes are not drilled and some do not line up. It is really not a big deal to fix the holes 8) Finally, if you want this to be as waterproof as possible, you must use silicone caulking on the seems (inside and outside where the sides meet the base) and especially on the bottom (underneath) where the sides fit into the slots in the base. If there is any chance that the box will be emerged in an inch or so of standing water, the water will seep into the bottom of the box.

Great purchase!

I wanted a container that would allow for patio cushions , of which one is a long bench cushion. This container is perfect. There is plenty of room. I even put my birdbath solar fountains inside....and there still is more available room. This was relatively easy to put together. Some of the screws go directly into/through the plastic and requires arm strength. Instead, I punched the holes first with a Phillips screwdriver to "open" the holes. That made it easier. I would recommend this- price & size are perfect.

Excellent storage box

We own 2 of these boxes and I just ordered our 3rd. They are perfect for storing tools and gear for our pool, as well as misc. outdoor equipment. Our existing units have stood up extremely well to the harsh Texas summers. Access in and out is easy and the neutral color allows the boxes to blend-in to our yard without looking like eye sores.

Not fun to put together

This deck box is nice but putting it together should have been much easier. The first problem was step one—the notches you use to lock it in needs some further design tweaks. We finally got it together by using a can of kitchen spray oil. The other issue is there are three different size bolts/screws, a smarter designer would have tried to create a piece that one size wrench would work for the whole build. Now that it is done I am happy with the deck box.

Great storage

I bought this a few months ago to store my kids outside toys. I live in Oregon where it rains all of the time, and my favorite feature of this strange us that it really does seal so that NO rain gets in there. My kids toys are safe and not getting wet it ruined. Thank you!
